Aohayo Memory Foam Pillow Hypoallergenic Material Comfortable Pillow with Removable Soft Case

I like memory foam for beds and pillows but didn't want a "regular" memory foam pillow - I wanted a contoured one with support for my neck. This one fits my requirement exactly - has a good contour for neck support and uses memory foam for firmer support. I love the cooling gel - it does work and my face feels a little cooler when I use this pillow. The size of this pillow closely matches a regular pillow (see the pic I attached) but the covers aren't interchangeable due to the shape. However, the pillow comes with its own cover - which can be removed for washing. I have been using this pillow for a month and its made a big difference in the quality of my sleep!

I hated it the first couple of nights. The pillow didn't give much even after pressing down on it and the discomfort in my neck was exacerbating my migraines. I still decided to give it a fair chance. After the 3rd night, I started to get used to it. It worked like magic. I have had no pain in my neck since and surprisingly, even my migraines are few and far between now.FYI, just thought I'd buy this for my family and looked it up on Amazon India. It's close to 185 pounds there. :O

The pillow advertised is good, it seems to be okay, but i'm not so sure on the shape. I sleep sideways, or sometimes on my front. I have been advised sleeping on your front is a no go anyway, so I have tried the side. The hump on the pillow does mould to your shape after 10 minutes, but can disturb you during the night due to a change in position can disturb the mould you have created. I'm not sure if being a new pillow, it is a bit stiff and will become a bit more manageable with time, and more forgiving with movement.There wasn't a lasting chemical smell, and the product seems of good quality. I am buying a 'normal' shaped memory pillow for comparison, so may update this review, but not the rating as it is a different product.One thing to note (might just be me) is the reviews on this listing seem to be rating a completely different pillow. I made the mistake? Of assuming the pillow in the reviews (had a cooling gel) would be the one I would receive. The listing does advertise a memory foam pillow, but without the cooling gel, but like I said, I assumed the images in the reviews would be the pillow I would receive. I couldn't work out if this was a mistake on my side, Amazon's or the sellers, so I left it at that.Overall I can't fault the pillow I received, it is a memory foam pillow and is the pillow in the listing. I can't say anything on cooling gel, so far the pillow hasn't heated up too much, but then again it is February. The price was reasonable, even though not the item I expected, but can't work out if i'm more annoyed at myself for rushing to purchase, or amazon/seller for having the wrong reviews on the page.Amazon did offer a £6 refund, which I accepted.Edit (17/02) - Really not sure if I received the right pillow or not. I'm still seeing images of a pillow with a blue cooling gel front, and a Szaien bag in the reviews, which was not the one I recieved. Either way the 'normal' shaped pillow I ordered a few days later is more enjoyable to use than the humped type.

I have MS and am going through the menopause, so I overheat a lot. My old pillow was ancient and needed replacing, so this one looked perfect.It comes with a washable cover, so you can only see the cool gel when you remove it. It is the same shape as my old pillow, so I know this shape suits me, but I was amazed at just how comfy it is. It is brilliant for sleeping on your back or sides. It is firm, but with a soft memory foam covering. It is quite large, and my pillowcase only just fits it.Unfortunately I did not find it particularly cooling, but then it does have two layers between the gel and my head (its own pillowcase and my normal one). But the comfort outweighs any disappointment. I am so pleased I bought it.

This pillow has given me my life back! I was suffering with severe headaches as a result of severe whiplash in a car accident when I was younger. Using this pillow my pain is greatly reduced and is now manageable. It is very firm and does take a little getting used to. It’s also quite a big pillow! My husband says that my neck and back look well aligned when I sleep on it now. I would recommend this product.

What a great memory foam pillow. Have been using this for a few weeks, ever since my foam pillow went missing...It's very good! Let's start with the unpacking. What you get is this oblong box, once opened you are greeted with a bag which contains your rolled up pillow. Yes, they post it out in tube form, which is very good for saving money on boxes, the environment, and postage costs. You simply squeeze out your pillow, much the same as you would with toothpaste. Start at the end. Once out give it a few minutes to unroll and recover itself. Then it's ready for use.This is a lot better than normal pillows as it gives you a lot of support, it also stays pretty cool. Although this has never been a problem for me. All in all a great pillow and can provide blissful relief to neck pain. It helped me. It's lost a star only because there are cheaper pillows available. I am not sure how good they are mind. This one is Amazon's choice for Orthopaedic Pillows.

This is my third Memory foam pillow, so I know what I bought.It is absolutely supreme quality. The hardness of the memory foam is the most crucial factor that so many don't understand, including me for my previous two purchase. For this one I spent a bit more but got the best of memory foam for my good night sleep.I am willing to buy one more for my wife but its a bit costly for me but hopefully I will.It seriously helped my and my wife's morning neck pain.Even though it came with its own cover, it wasn't comfortable to me, so I used another cover over it to make it comfy.

Sleeping much better after turning to memory foam. The first night was strange - loops of sleeping well and then waking up with the back of my head feeling like a rock. The second night was better but still slightly uncomfortable, there is an erge to swap to your normal pillow. After that; no headaches and no neck pain. I can't compare this to any other memory foam pillow but I am happy with this.
