The media could not be loaded.  My teeth have been getting chipped and worn and my dentist told me to get a mouth guard to sleep in.I tried several different styles from the store, but they were all way too bulky and made me drool on my pillow. I decided to commit to a more expensive professional option with these.They came with good instructions as well as a Link to video instructions. If you are unsure if you have made your mold correctly, you can send them pictures to evaluate. Your kit comes with material for a 2nd try for both top/bottom. If you need more, or the mold you send is no good, they will provide 1 additional kit free.Making th molds seemed intimidating at first, but was actually really easy. Then you just put them in the mail in the provides packaging, and receive your mouth guards a few weeks later.I thought this set was for 1 top and 1 bottom. I ended up receiving 3 total. So I don't k ow if I got 1 extra for some reason, or if I am missing one.My 1st impression was actually a bit negative. For some reason, I just assumed they would be more rigid. But they are actually quite flexible. But they are actually quite comfortable. They are so slim you barely know they are in. They fit snug, and all the trim lines are nice and smooth and end right at the gum line. These are SOOOO much easier to sleep in, meaning I will actually use them and protect my teeth.I would absolutely recommend these.

I purchased these mouthguards because I'm experiencing early symptoms of TMJ. I have a mouthguard that was created professionally at the dentist's office, but wanted an additional pair just in case I lose or misplace the other set.Upon arrival, I was impressed. Professional packaging, multiple forms of instructions, and tools. Once I got started I soon realized some issues. While this may not be the case for most, the mouthguard molds didn't fit my mouth shape particularly well. It comes with mouthguard molds in Small, medium, and Large for the upper and lower teeth. I felt like I was somewhere between medium and large. As a result, I struggled to get the proper mold of my upper teeth. After struggling and using all of the allotted putty, which didn't seem to be enough portion-wise, I wasn't pleased with the molds in comparison to the instructions. I also felt like if it contained more putty per portion, I probably could've created a better mold of my upper teeth.Before sending the molds off, I took a picture and sent it to customer service. Customer service was nice and expedient..initially. Oddly enough, because I received these via Amazon, they had no way of verifying my customer info initially (Which is probably why I never received anything back).While talking to customer service, I was told whether or not my molds would work, which they didn't, but was offered an additional set of molds and putty at no additional cost. I was even given new molds that seemed to fit my mouth much better. Although I still struggled to get the perfect fit/mold, I felt confident enough to mail them back in.Well, it's been well over a month now and I've received no updates or responses to emails. It. was very disappointing. Given the initial expediency and professional manner of customer service, I would've assumed they would've done good work and delivered. I understand things happen, but not even receiving a response via email was very disappointing.Maybe my situation was a one-off given the other reviews, but be weary; it's somewhat difficult to create a perfect mold yourself and you may not receive anything back. While the dentist is much more expensive, you can at least be assured that it'll be done correctly and I'll you'll at least get a mouthguard back.

I've been using boil and bite mouthguard for years with mixed results. I’ve thought about getting one made by my dentist but they are so expensive - I think last time I asked the estimate was about $500 and it wasn’t covered by insurance.I was excited to try these custom fit Sentinel Mouthguards. You get an upper and lower guard for less than half of what the dentist was going to charge me for one.They send you a kit to do the impressions and clear instructions. There’s also a link to a video that you can follow along with it real time. The video was the most helpful. I didn't know it at the time, but I actually didn’t get a good impression for my upper teeth on my first try.About 10 days after mailing my impressions to Sentinel, they sent me the upper and lower guard. The upper didn’t fully cover my back teeth due to my bad impression but they included another impression kit so I could do it again.This time I sent a photo to make sure it looked right and once I got the OK from Sentinel I sent it back again. I also sent the lower one back for a slight trim since it didn’t feel quite right on my gums.About 10 days later I got the new upper and the adjusted lower sent back to me. I’ve been using them for a few days and they are so much better than any boil and bite guard.These guards are so much less bulky and such a better fit than the cheaper boil & bite guards. They still took a little bit of getting used to because I don’t love sleeping with any kind of mouth guard but overall these are so much more comfortable.This is a really great value for high quality, custom fit mouthguards. And customer service is excellent too.

Got this to reduce shifting in my jaw during my sleep. The molding process was surprisingly quick and easy. The mouthguards came in after a few days, and they were comfortable to wear throughout the night. Definitely worth considering to reduce or prevent biting throughout the night. Worth.

This will work okay for a "travel" night gurard. I'm always worried I'm going to leave my dentist made one behind when I travel.They advertise this as a tongue biting guard, which I guess is more fitting. If you're looking to use this as an actual nightguard to prevent you from grinding your teeth, it does an okay job, but not exceptional.Easy enough to make.
