These cookies are ok, nice option for diabetics or ppl watching carbs
Philosophically I am happy that I kinda sorta have a cookie treat to enjoy now and then. Realistically, they are just ok and will not be tempted to eat the entire bag like regular cookies. But they do the job of being a technical cookie when I’m inclined to a treat and I want to support all manufacturers of these products so that they get eventually get better. I really am glad to have a cookie as a diabetic and I love Ozery bakery’s other products. I don’t think it impacts my BG, but I literally only eat one cookie after dinner

May be acceptible to someone
These cookies are structurally weak without gluten bonds, which is understandable yet execution is unsatisfying at best. The way the cellulose and acacia gum try to keep things together is unpleasant. You know how when you mix sand with water to form a structure, but you can smash it? The way it crumbles is what this is like. In your mouth.Flavorwise, xylitol, erythritol, and monk fruit all have challenging aftertastes that are hard to mask, and they are very evident here. Combined with tapioca fiber, it has an increased laxative effect."Double chocolate chip" is a promise that is not kept. It's not even single chocolate chip. They may have used sufficient chocolate chip for a traditional cookie but the off flavors simply overpower it and they have not compensated.I'm not going to lie. This does not replace traditional cookies in taste or texture. Not even close. If you can't have traditional cookies then it may be a good enough substitute if you're hankering for it. However, if knowledge and memories of cookies are erased and there was only this in existence it still would not be good. I'm not a picky eater but personally I would rather go without. There is no point for me when there are wonderful things that leverage the situation rather than create a poor facsimile that cannot stand on its own merits. But it's good it exists for the people that want it and perhaps they can improve it.

Sweets for Celiacs
A friend of mine has celiac disease. For her, it’s not a “gluten intolerance” or a mere dietary fad – she has the the bona fide autoimmune medical condition and its complications. I ordered these SeedWise Double Chocolate Cookies so I’d have something on hand to serve with coffee during our visits. While the cookies do taste of chocolate – and the chocolate chips are quite tasty – the consistency of the cookies is quite dry and crumbly compared to baked goods that aren’t advertised as being gluten-free. Personally, I wouldn’t choose to snack on them if other options were available. My friend has sampled a lot of different gluten-free products over the years, so she has more personal experience and cred than me. Her verdict? I quote: “Well, they’re not the best tasting gluten-free cookies I’ve ever tasted. But they’re chocolate, they're edible, and they certainly aren't the worst.”

Healthy snack
Considering these cookies are grain free, they are pretty good. They don't go over well with my husband, who is looking for a traditional cookie taste, but I liked them. They are gluten free and allergy friendly. The cookies are small and bite-size and come in a reclosable pouch.

If You Can't Eat the Real Thing, Worth a Try
If you love traditional cookies -- whether moist and chewy or another style -- these will not replace that. As much as these are made with a lot of thought to avoid certain ingredients, they just can't complete with the real thing. But for those that are on a certain diet or condition, these aren't a bad substitute to try and appease that cookie craving.Taste/TextureThese are small cookies -- and you get a total of 9 per bag. Three of these together would probably equate to a regular sized cookie, clocking in at 120 calories. These cookies are dense, firm, and dry -- not fluffy, moist, or chewy. In some ways, the center reminds me of a protein bar, albeit not that dense. The cookie does have a light birthday cake flavor, and there is a good level of sweetness considering there is no added sugar (but does have 7g of sugar alcohols, whatever that means). Expiration date of 10/2023, so about four month shelf life.If you have some condition or diet that precludes you from enjoying the real thing, by all means give these a try. You don't get many for the price, so they will go quickly. Personally I don't mind having them on hand as a snack, but will still reach for the unhealthy, but immensely satisfying, traditional cookie when I need to get my fix.

Too healthy for our family
Nobody in my family liked the flavor or the texture of these cookies ....We are used to eating fresh homemade cookies with regular ingredients but i was curious to see if these would be a good healthy snack for my son to take to school. For my surprise my non picky son said he didnt like - so we tasted and yes we agree with him ... barely taste chocolate chips .. big no for us ..might be a good option for those who are intolerant to grains ...

Lots of Seeds
The SeedWise Birthday Cake Cookie tasted good though the texture is definitely different than a typical cookie. It's not bad but just know that your eating a lot of seeds. A couple of the ingredients concern me which is Xylitol and Palm Oil. Xylitol is not good for diabetics (or dogs) so heads up in case you are or about to give one of these cookies to them. The bag has 9 cookies which are about the size of a checker piece. At the current cost, it comes out to a little more than $.55 per cookie.

Great tasting cookies, if only they could remove one ingredient
This is a topic that is hard to be objective on. I found these to be surprisingly good. They feel fresh and home-made. Not too sweet, they have a nice texture that is not dry or mushy. They really do taste kind of like Birthday cake! I know someone who doesn't like the "sprinkles," finding them hard on their teeth, but they didn't really bother me.The cookies came with three packages, and is a product of Canada. The only downside for me was that they include palm oil, which I generally try to avoid. Still, I would like to try other flavors of these cookies!
