My husband has osteoarthritis and has constant pain. Several months ago he tore his meniscus and had surgery. It didn't heal as well as hoped for and more than one doctor told him he would need a knee replacement. He tried every type of knee brace and support he could find in hopes of putting it off. Some worked awhile, some not at all, but none for any amount of time. I saw this knee support Neo G Medical Grade VCS Closed Knee Support after searching and reading reviews and was skeptical as we had not had luck so far. It was called "medical grade" so I figured I would get one more for our ever growing pile of knee braces and supports. First, it came much faster than I expected. Secondly, my husband said it was the most comfortable one he had tried. Thirdly... IT WORKS!! He wore it every day for a few weeks and was amazed at the difference! He found himself walking up steps without pain and enjoys golfs again! (he golfs at least 3 times a week, and no, it did not help his game, but it never claimed it would). Some days he doesn't wear it now, but at the first hint of pain puts it back on and says he feels he will not need the knee surgery any time soon now. The way it can be adjusted is important because some days you just need a bit more support than others and if it is not made correctly it will not be comfortable no matter what you do. His knee seldom swells up now and before he had to get fluid drained from the painful swelling. Was I paid to say these things? No. Am I trying to be nice for a friend or anything? No. I am simply a loving wife that is excited to see my husband of 33 years feeling better! I highly recommend it! It amazes me to see the difference this knee support has made in his life!

I have arthritis in both knees and had a torn meniscus in my left for which I had an operation which did not completely relieve the pain. I tried various knee braces and none seemed to do much for me. After much research, I found this brace and ordered it. I find that it provides support and also helps stabilize the knee to prevent damaging twisting. I put it on when I am going to be on my feet for long periods, walking up and down stairs a lot, or go for long walks. When doing these kinds of activities without the brace, I am in pain and discomfort during and after. With the brace, I'm fine. The brace is very comfortable and the ability to adjust the tightness of it is what I think helps so much. Others I tried were either too loose to give any support, or so tight that they were too uncomfortable to wear for long. This brace is easily adjustable to the tightness you need. The neoprene material the brace is made of also provides soothing warmth to the knee. This is the second of these braces I've ordered so I have one for each knee. I highly recommend it.

I twisted my knee a week before going on a vacation that required a lot of walking. I wore the Neo G knee brace while walking, without a brace I wouldn't have been able to walk the vacation. I dinged it a star because the velcro straps are not working as well when I received it. The material seems to be wearing out in spots. This thing worked great in every other aspect , it was easy to put on, I wore it comfortably for many ours. It kept my strained ligament in position. It was a worthwhile purchase for me.

BUYER BEWARE!On occasion my knee feels a bit weak so I slip on my old compression sleeve. However, it's not very comfortable and slides down my leg, so I decided it was time for something new.My knee felt normal when I received this product, but I put it on anyway to test it out. I went out for 3 hours and came home with incredible knee pain. Actual sharp pain, not the minor discomfort that happens a few times a year. It has been exactly a week since and my knee is still messed up!To make matters worse, they don't accept returns. Probably because they would go out of business.Unbelievable.

I liked this brace. It lightly stabilized and had good, moderate compression, which is what I needed after a knee strain. Worked well for light to moderate hikes and just being on my feet for hours at a time at work. Unfortunately, I quickly developed an allergy to it. Not sure if it was from the dyes or the material as I've never had an allergic reaction before! At first, the reaction was mild, but now I can't wear it for even an hour without terrible contact dermatitis and extreme inflammation/itchiness. I'll have to get tested to find out what I'm allergic to before I invest in another brace. For now I can only wear this over pants, which is not nearly as good!

I''m in my late 50s and have developed knee sensitivity if I stand for long periods or walk more than a block. I found these knee supports and gave them a try--from the moment I put them on I felt relief. They go on and off super easily with the Velcro and can be adjusted for comfort in one second. With this knee support on, I have been able to stand longer and walk farther with no pain. The comfort begins for me as soon I put them on, and having it on is also a gentle reminder to me to be extra careful going up and down stairs and curbs.

I am amazed at the way this knee support has helped not just my knee, but it has gotten me moving. I have worn it for three days and the pain in my knee and back has been reduced enough that I can get myself out of the chair with ease and have even gone out and done some yard work. I have a drawer full of braces and sleeves and really didn't have much hope for this one either. I couldn't believe how much better I felt just after the first day. It is easy to put on and take off and is so comfortable.that I put it on and forget it. No rough edges, binding and scratchy edges. I am ordering another for my right knee, which is not as painful, but maybe I can ward off the deterioration that I have had with the left. I love it. I would recommend this knee brace to anyone. I am an 86 year old teacher, still teaching Art part time and looking forward to many more years with students who love art.
