With different opacities, glitter, all of it- If you're working with uneven or ridged nails, this thin formula is a nightmareHow I do my nails with this builder gel as a semi pro nail artist:1. Wash hands2. Sanitize and strip with acetone3. Carve out the cuticle pockets4. Gently file the whole nail bed with an efile on low; remove the cuticle outgrowth on the nail bed5. Apply Young Nails protein bonder6. Glue on half tips with brush on glue7. Paint and cure the half tips with milky white gel polish to make them look like real nail growth8. Cover nail bed and tip with BTArtbox Brush On Glue Gel in a medium thick layer (this gel glue is the thickest, smoothest gel I've ever encountered; using this or similar is crucial. It smoothes out any unevenness or ridging, giving a perfect surface) then cure fully, 60s9. Two thin layers of builder gel, cured 30s between coats10. Use the gel glue to make an approximate apex; cure 30s11. One more builder gel layer; cure 60s12. Use the efile and hand file to finish shaping and to keep the cuticle area neat, thin and attractive; hands file the surface to create an even, professional level from apex to free edge13. Paint one thin layer of a tinted jelly polish over the whole nail, then carefully wipe off the tip that is meant to look like natural nail growth. Cure 30s, repeat until you are happy with the opacity of the color on the nail bed14. Top with any desired nail art, then seal with a thin layer of the builder gel for top coat. Buff with a buffing block if a matte, totally natural nail appearance is preferred.This gel is truly marvelous. I cannot do acrylic to save my life, and now I've got a bad allergy to it... but in working with glue on tips, nail polish and thick brush on gel formulas, I'm very easily and consistently able to create salon quality sets that look just as good as acrylic- if not even better. Should I decide to move forward in doing clients' nails, I will be doing this method or a highly similar version.Bonus:To fill nails grown out after using my method above, wash hands and then..1. Using an efile, gently file the cuticle area down to the nail and be sure to scuff up the natural nail for future adhesion2. Still using the efile, take off the top coat and nailbed polish color3. Rub the whole nail with alcohol on a cotton ball to remove dust4. Apply the protein bonder to the new nail growth5. Once it dries, gently begin building up the area of new growth with the brush on gel glue; cure 30s between layers6. Apply 1-3 coats of builder gel, curing 30s between layers7. Use files to shape as described originally8. Apply nail bed color as described originally, or other polish9. Top coat thin layer with the builder gelOr, to remove, simply use Makartt glue debonder and start from scratch. Cheers!!!

With this product I was able to do my own nails for the first time! Kudos to the maker for saving my sanity and pocket book!

My nails were a mess after I improperly removed previous polygel nails (my bad, I know). I wanted something that would help protect my nails as they grew out. They were breaking, cracking and some I had to cut almost all the way down to the quick. I watched a few YT videos on application and it was pretty easy. I didn't try to lengthen my nails using the included forms as I am really just trying to protect them during the grow out phase and didn't want any additional stress on my natural nails. So far, I have had it on for a week without any chipping and my nails definitely are thicker/stronger than without the builder gel.Note: You do need your own gel base and top coats as well as a UV/LED Lamp.

I have iron issues so I have deep ridges in my nails.. Absolutley nothing will stick for a manicure! Finally I found this one that not only fills in the ridges but strengthens my nails better than anything I have used. I like this brand as I used to use their polygel extension gel and it worked well also. Goes on easy and doesn't lift. Love it.

Maybe it's me but I feel like this product don't seem to last like hard gel so. I guess I'll go back to the hard gel. But if you're looking for something for just a week or a few days this product might be for you.

It cured and then turned sticky like as if it needs to air dry? I put it under a lamp multiple times

I definitely love it, super convenient, practical and time saver.Remember to wipe the nail right after you use the LED lamp to cure to remove de stickiness. I only did 2 coats and more than satisfied with the results.

The gel itself wasn’t super thick or goopy and the nail forms took me a while to figure out since I’ve never used them before but I’m happy with my purchase!!
