10,500MBps with Crystal Disk benchmark test
I asked MS Co-pilot for a Gen5 SSD and it recommend this NVMe as best value and performance. It was easy to fit in PC and I get 10,500MBps with Crystal Disk benchmark test. I moved my windows 11 on it and performance is blinding.

Fast, heatsink is removable should you need to.
Easy to fit and FAST. I coupled this with an ASUS PRIME X870 and Ryzen 9-7900X and Win11Firmware was easily updated with the Crucial tools.Heatsink does a good job, and IS removable in case you wanted to fit in a constrained laptop space.11778 MB Read and 10271 Write via CrystalDiskMark test

Supper fast gen5 m.2 drive.
Works great. Drivers haven’t quite caught up and total speed not reached but it’s super fast anyway.2gb and above have slightly higher speeds.

Blazing fast storage
Speeds as advertised, connected to a MSI X670E GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard in the PCI E 5.0 slot. Also uses the heatsink that came with my motherboard with no issues.

Pricey but does it's job
Using with OEM heatsink (Asus B650 Prime Plus) and the system is literally flying. Basically no waiting times in order load virtually anything (Ryzen 7 series, 48 GB DDR4 5200 mhz and this little ssd).If you have purpose for that then it's definitely worth the money.

Constant crashes
When it worked, it was brilliant; Much faster then my P3 plus that it was meant to replace.Unfortunately my computer seemed to suffer from random crashes if left idle (no matter what power settings I was able to change). When in use it behaved perfectly...unless I was downloading large files (new games etc) and then it crashed the PC (possibly overheat? The fault logs never had a fault listed).I could happily play Cyberpunk for several hour straight. But if I was browsing the web and left it alone for 5 minutes to make a cuppa it would have already rebooted my PC or sent it to the bios screen by the time I came back.PC is once again behaving normally now that it has the P3 back in it.A real shame, but I had to return it.Maybe in the future with a firmware update/revised edition it'll behave better?

Upgraded to this from AM4 with a HDD & SSD and WOW!
I recently upgraded my setup with the Crucial T700 1TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD, and the speed improvement is astonishing. Transitioning from a mix of HDD and standard SSD to this latest NVMe technology has dramatically enhanced my system's performance, especially noticeable since I've never had an AM5 platform before.Installation was straightforward, and the performance boost was immediate. Boot times are significantly shorter, applications launch instantly, and my overall system responsiveness is through the roof. But where it truly shines is in gaming. My FPS has seen a noticeable improvement, making for a smoother and more immersive gaming experience.Tips for Potential Upgraders:Ensure your motherboard supports Gen5 NVMe to fully leverage the T700's capabilities.Consider migrating your OS to the NVMe drive for the fastest boot times.Regularly update your drive's firmware to maintain optimal performance. The DirectStorage support is a standout, virtually eliminating load times in games and enhancing my gameplay with quicker level transitions. With speeds of up to 11,700 MB/s, the Crucial T700 isn't just meeting the advertised performance; it's setting a new standard for what I expect from my storage solutions. For anyone looking to significantly upgrade their system's speed, especially gamers seeking that extra edge in performance, the Crucial T700 1TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD is a game-changer. It's transformed not just how quickly my system operates but how smoothly my games run, offering a seamless experience that's hard to go back from.
