Quality dog food that my Boston French Bulldogs ADORE!
I love the small teeny size of the kibble because my girl puppy gobbles and chokes on most brands. I add a little warm water to this food to slow her up and create a gravy and that has stopped the choking problem. I investigated every dog food under the sun to find the best quality and I think this brand is great. NO CORN and an easy resealable bag are also a plus. The breeder had my male dog on a different brand (with chicken meal #1 ingred) he used to throw up a lot while playing and switching to this food has stopped that too. I highly recommend this brand. Oh, and their skin and coat is shiny and soft since being on it. I didn't realize they made a small breed version of this food, so I may switch to that.

Excellent dry puppy food -- highly recommended
NOTE: this is mostly the same text as the review I wrote for the Adult Halo Spot's Stew formula (see below). Just wanted to add a note that we switched our dog, Ace, to this after he started life on a cheaper commercial product (Purina "puppy chow"). His digestion on this is far more consistent, he loves the food, and after having researched and learned the differences between dog foods and ingredients, I'm really glad we've got Ace eating Halo Spot's Stew.Note: from review of Adult Halo Spot's Stew:After much research, I selected Halo Spot's Stew for our dog Ace, and we're all quite pleased - Ace most important of all! He's about 14 months old as I write this -- a 40lb mix of Black Lab and Jack Russell -- in effect, a half-sized Lab with a tendency to bounce.Probably one of the most respected dry dog foods on the market. Ace's coat is glossy, eyes are clear, digestion seems pretty much perfect - and consistent, and he loves the food. All in all, we're very pleased with Halo Spot's stew. BTW: we had started him on this with the puppy formula when he was a few months old, and switched to the adult formula once it was clear he had reached maximum growth at about 13 months. We switch flavors on each order to provide a bit of variety, but that's probably more fo us than Ace, as he doesn't seem to get bored with the food. We're quite please with this, and will likely keep Ace on Halo Spot's Stew for the foreseeable future.

Healthy, nourishing, breed specific and inclusive options.
My husband and I were looking for a breed specific dog food for our 8 year old shih tzu. After much research and guidance, we came across HALO. Tinkerbell is a picky eater and loves this food, her coat is shiny and soft. Her bathroom breaks are regular and healthy. Just a great dog food I would imagine for all breeds. And it has a great price for such a healthy nourishing dog food. We love it. Tinker bell has been eating this food for a little over a year now.

Shih tzu puppy loves it
I've been buying this for my shih tzu puppy, now 8 months old, because of the better quality ingredients. I wish Halo had a vegan variety like I fed my older dogs because I add my own ground beef, salmon or chicken with veggies to the kibble, but its still good stuff...my puppy loves it and is doing great! I will switch to their vegan kibble when he gets older.

Great quality!
I switched my pets to Halo around 8 months ago and it's been great. I really like the overall company, they use great ingredients and seem to have very good quality control. They've only ever had one recall and that was voluntary. It's definitely more expensive but I switched to the sensitive stomach formula because one of my cats has digestive issues and he's been doing really well ever since.

Great food -- Extremely teeny tiny kibble
This food is great ingredient wise -- my older puppy eats it. However, the kibble is shockingly teeny tiny -- like pea gravel and more of a size for very young puppies. Not thrilled with these gravel sized pebbles which are impractical and ridiculous for larger puppies. Seems more geared to what a Teacup puppy can eat. My 7 month old 25 lb pup manages to eat it just fine, but it looks like kids cereal pebbles in bowl. The kibble should be larger -- this size is for very young puppies not for larger/older puppies. Unfortunately, this is the only puppy food they offer until they are able to eat adult food. Other brands do not seem to be as healthy and have too may additives. This is the only reasonwhy I am feeding my dog this food after looking at many other brands.

Natural Dog Food
I purchased this product several times and my dogs love it. However, it upset one of my dog's stomach so I had to switch her to another dog food. Overall, the ingredients are wholesome and organic and worth the price.
