It's a big solid feeling unit and boy does it deliver. The Cob lights in the handle make a great lamp that can light up a good sized room but the main torch is just ridiculously powerful. In floodlight mode it gives a wide cone of bright white light and when you focus it the beam stretches way into the distance. Amazing bargain to get this performance at this price.Edit: Lost some tiles off the roof last night and was able to illuminate it with this torch from across the road to inspect the damage. Unbelievably powerful, Great buy

This is by far the brightest & easy to use LED torch. It’s range is unbelievable and super bright at an amazing price. The zoom facility widens the beam for close up illumination and is by far the best of its type I’ve had.The torch is slightly on the heavier & larger side but it fits in my pocket quite easily, perfect for dog walking.One small point is that the switch is slightly sensitive but I soon got used to that while handling.Thoroughly recommend.

Larger and heavier than I expected.I should have paid attention to the product details - ‎20 x 3.2 x 4.5 cm; 370 GramsThe functions don't exactly match the instructions, or the illustrations on the Amazon site.There are two white torch brightness levels - medium and high and the medium setting is nearly the same as the bright setting.The white strobe light works well and seems to be set at medium - almost the same as high.In the lantern mode there are three settings including low but again there is little difference between medium and high.The red strobe works well and is activated after the white lantern mode is activated. Would be useful when walking along unlit country lanes.I'm not sure it would be bright enough for roadside emergencies but it would certainly be better than nothing. It could be invaluable for use as a distress signal if injured outdoors.There is no constant red light option for use in the dark to enable night vision.The instructions are on a small piece of paper and the text is tiny. You may need spectacles or a magnifying glass. They do not quite match the torch but are useful.For fellwalking there are lighter options that are still high power, using the same 18650 Li-ion battery. If you supplement one of these with a bright read LED cycle light you could save weight.The greatest benefits are its brightness, the lantern mode, the USB recharging facility plus its potential use as a power bank for recharging phones etc.A shame about there being no constant red option - it is indicated on the illustrations but not in the instructions.I found the lanyard too small to fit over my hand - I will modify it.The battery isn't accessible so it can't be swapped for another battery if it runs low. But you could recharge it from a power bank.

So good I bought another. Bright and powerful variable focus beam; also work light and emergency red light. Solidly made.

This is a very bright torch, the focus zoom allows the beam to reach 100s of metres. But the battery life, even on the lowest brightness was only 40 minutes. Far lower than the eight hours advertised or two hours in the instuction leaflet. About five minutes before the torch goes out the red handle light flashes a morse code sos.You can't use a fast charger (usb c to usb c), a normal 15 watt charger usb a to usb c took four hours to charge the torch from completely discharged. Finally the power switch requires a very light pressure and so can be switched on easily by accident. It is not possible to remove the battery to prevent this either.Overall if you need a very bright torch with a long focussed beam for a short time, this may be a good choice, but if you want light over a longer period, perhaps for a dog walk, there are better options.

This is by far one of the best our there , really bright , can zoom in , I'm a delivery driver and use it to look for houses it's great for the hard to see numbers and names in the dark , the camping light and power bank is a great feature too

Although I am happy with its powerful beam iy isn't easy switch it off quickly. You have to cycle hrough all of its settings. If you try press amd hold tje switch the clear handle lights up and you have to cycle through its settings to turn the torch off
