Works but WiFi signal weak
This is an ok unit but needs to be close to your WiFi access point.Has a magnet which is handy for fridges.Sometimes doesn't reconnect after a power cut which is a pain and it needs rebooting by cycling the switch.Pricey considering tuya WiFi units with remote sensor (and humidity and light sensing) are 25 quid not 40.Sorry guys, If price was right and WiFi stronger I'd buy a few more but there's better spec and value ones about I've moved to.

You appear only to be able to interrogate it from one device.
After I set it up on an old iPhone mounted on a little stand, so I could monitor it, I tried setting up on my own phone. The system asks all the original setup questions, and when asked to “pair” with the new device, drops the connection with the old one.So unable to check temperature from other than at home!Other than that it works fine, software basic but does the job. Updates every 10 seconds or so,

Easy set up but battery poor
I wanted this for remote monitoring. It set up easily using my WiFi and it works well. The problem is the battery which lasts only a few hours, 6 if you're lucky. I needed a week. Obviously expectations were too high. It renders the unit useless unless you can have ongoing charging in some form.

Works perfectly
Used it to monitor temp in hot water thermal store in the loft. It is heated by solar so useful to know how much hot water there is.

Couldn't connect it.
Don't know how it performs. Spent 5+ hours trying to get it to connect to wifi via the 3rd party app. The process is just ridiculous coupled with Instructions which are annoyingly vague. I'm by no means a technophobe. But this should've connected 1st attempt. I gave up after I'd lost count of the long winded attempts. It may well work but I don't have the patience. Returned.

Keeps dropping off the wifi
Worked ok but kept disconnecting from the wifi. The battery life after mains failure is also too short. Returned.

Useful fish tank water sensor
I'm fairly impressed with this WIFi temperature monitor. I'm using it with my fish tank to ensure that the temperature is monitored and correctly maintained. It surprises me that very little smart technology has emerged in fish keeping products. The monitor is easy to set up. I already had the Tuna smart app on my phone as it tends to be an app of choice for smaller smart home manufacturers. The monitor also links to Alexa so you can ask Alexa what the temperature is.Usefully within Tuya it os possible to set minimum and maximum temperatures which if exceeded result in an alarm both from the thermometer itself and via a smartphone. In addition the display is very easy to read.Limitations, well whilst the unit has an inbuilt battery it will only keep the device charged for a short time. It seems it's really intended to offer an option if there's a power cut. Mine is connected permanently via the supplied UK plug adapter and USB cable. Further, the thermostat has a red LED light around the display. This is red all the time. I would have liked it to change colour depending on the temperature. It seems I need to use another app to achieve this!Overall though a useful product for fish keeping. Four stars.

Good for monitoring chest freezer but WiFi signal is weak
This WiFi temperature probe gives me complete peace of mind that my chest freezer is working perfectly. My chest freezer is in the garage and I only go in once per week to refill the house freezer. I have always worried that the chest freezer could break down and I would only find out the following week when I went back into the garage. Now I have this temperature probe, I can see the current temperature at any time on my phone. It has a rechargeable battery but I have mine plugged into the mains as I want constant monitoring of my freezer temperature. I was a little disappointed with the WiFi signal on the probe as it isn't very strong so I can’t connect to it from everywhere in the house but that’s really the only negative comment I have.
