They are perfect for staking into borders or planters to light the way with their clever inbuilt movement detection. Standing 57cm tall and 18cm in diameter, these are much bigger and heavier than you would think, dwarfing other regular solar stakes on the market. So what makes these so special...being a SuperSolar product you can expect them to be bright and they are certainly that! The 3 x SMD LEDs emit 50 lumens when activated. Power to support this brightness is supplied courtesy of a 3.7v Li-ion 1000mAh re-chargeable battery preferred for its power, higher discharge frequency and stability over traditional alkaline types. The clever inbuilt movement sensor regulates the brightness at night, only allowing full brightness for 30 seconds before returning to a nice ambient level of 2.5 lumens, making this product a perfect way to decorate and illuminate a patio as one example. For security and convenience the movement sensor can see up to 8 metres away in a 120 degree arc so that late evening walk taking the bins out will be illuminated perfectly for you. Another fantastic feature of this garden stake is the fluted glass lamp. Whilst feeling reassuringly substantial to touch the intricate design helps to create a wonderful pattern on the ground when lit, as opposed to plastic, adding clarity and longevity throughout winter months. To maximise year round use, each stake is equipped with an amorphous solar panel which can absorb power even in cloudy conditions and is embedded into a stainless steel cover, again adding to the quality feel of this lamp. Once you have switched your stake to the 'on' position, it will happily turn on and off daily using its inbuilt light sensor so no further action is required, just sit back and think how much money you have saved on an electrician!
