Perfect size, Im 6'0" and it is comfortable to me.
I've only had it a month so I'll keep you updated as it faces more usage. So far this little thing is one of my favorite purchases in a while, such a great value for the money! The chairs outside are always wet, and I wanted something tiny and portable to bring with me when I'm sitting undercover outside, and to bring back inside so it stays spider free! Welp, it does the job perfectly.Comes with a nice little carrying case as well. I personally just like the feel of sitting lower to the ground, so this has a nice height so when you are sitting you are at about crouch level. It feels quite sturdy as long as the legs are unfolded fully. I weigh 150lb and I think it could definitely sustain more weight if I let someone else use it. The material is good but the stitching could use a bit of reinforcing around the corners or some type of thicker thread. I plan on eventually just using some shoe goo to protect the threading and fabric from wearing out in the corners, we shall see.Overall I am very pleased, it is very convenient and just the size I was looking for. I haven't used it on any trips yet but I guarantee I will never leave home on a hike or camping trip without it. Great product.

Love it!
I love my little camping stool. I threw it in my sling pack when I was at an event where I knew I would have to stand in a long line. Easy to pop open and have a place to rest. I also take it camping- have used it as a foot rest when I am sitting in a camping bag chair. And I have taken it to the river on a hike, to have a place to sit. It is low to the ground, so leg strength is needed to get up off it:). I am 5’3 and 140 lbs, and it works for me. I enjoy hiking, walking and jogging. If you are over weight and never exercise your legs- this isn’t for you.

good function / bad mildew
The only reason that this has 4 stars instead of 5 is because the chair and pouch both reek of mildew. Unfortunately, this is often a problem with products that are shipped by ocean container from Asia.I will try to remedy this with lysol and/or vinegar and/or baking soda and/or an antibacterial pet mess enzyme cleaner, because other than the mildew, I think that this stool will be great for travel where I will be waiting in long lines at museums in the summer heat carrying a heavy purse: water bottle, travel book, etc.I can sit/rise without a problem - albeit not gracefully - even though I am an adult "of a certain age".. But to keep from fainting in the heat, I will endure the possibility of being the focus of a mean-spirited "Awkward!" video by another bored queue member.I've ordered 4 different stools to compare, and while they haven't all arrived here yet, so far this is the smallest/lightest one while still feeling sturdy enough. It will probably be the one I'll take with me - IF I can solve the mildew problem.

Small, light weight, very thin carrying case.
[Edit: 9/6/2019]After having freshly finished this year's PAX West event, I can say with confidence that this stool is pretty much everything I wanted! Lightweight, small footprint, and it sat comfortably folded up in my even smaller backpack. Waiting in line sitting on this stool wasn't a problem at all.Completely recommended.[2/6/2019] First photo is the stool in its case in my backpack next to my Switch. Second photo hopefully gives you an idea on how thin the carrying case material is.I've been looking for a smaller folding stool to bring with me when I go to events like PAX West or any convention that requires sitting in line for some time. While I have not brought it out into the field yet, I did test it in my room by sitting on it for thirty minutes at a time playing my Switch for about two hours. Something I would realistically be doing at said conventions. My build would be considered stocky, and the seat doesn't creak or feel rickety.Being 5'2", this shorter stool doesn't give me any trouble sitting onto/getting off of. It also comfortably fits into my every day backpack, something I appreciate because I've used taller stools and they'd always be a hassle to carry around, especially in crowds. The only thing that troubles me is that the carrying case it comes with is made of very thin material. Like pulling the drawstring closed might rip it, kind of thin. Also, usually don't do reviews this early, as I prefer to wait a couple months/uses before writing. Just didn't want to blatantly ignore the e-mails I've gotten to write one. Will update if there's anything to really update with? But for now I am content.

Not comfortable
My butt starts falling asleep after just a few minutes of sitting on this stool. Don't recommend.

Excellent little stools!
Happy with my purchase. I took these to an amusement park, since my grandkids complain about waiting in line so long and they get tired. These were small and easy to carry in my backpack and got great use out of them. Great buy and value!

Portable and useful
I bought this for an open air drawing event that lasted several hours. Very light and stashed easily in my small backpack, and unfolded easily when the time came. It allowed me to sit comfortably and draw, and allowed me to rest my joints and back from prolonged standing. The carrying case is a huge plus.
