The Lives of Brian

It's only rock'n'roll but..........
This is a wonderful read. A dozen pages in and I didn't want to put it down. I have never been a great believer in fate but this book has left me wondering. Imagine, you have given up on the music industry and you have settled for 9-5 and your job is a mobile windscreen fitter. And then one day you are called out to renew the screen of a big black car and everything changes. The chances have to be a million to one.Read the book and you will understand.

Amazing insight a genuine guy and icon
Well written from the heart, his upbringing and family clearly influenced Brian helping to make him into such a genuine guy. Story of a man with a god given talent who still had to work so hard, dealing with many set backs before he made it to the very top. Best music autobiography I’ve ever read with many funny anecdotes.

Not just a flat cap
Not especially AC DC fan was amused and entertained by this. Shows the journey that rock has allowed a few to make and us mortals to read about.

Ali’s Thoughts
Really enjoyed this and felt that Brian was speaking in his words.Took me back to school and uni when I saw AC/DC in 1979 and 1980. Seeing both singers was a privilege. It feels an open and honest account and two clear messages for all walks of life 1) grasp all opportunities and 2) never give up.On top of that an easy and informative read. Excellent.

Excellent Book
I've read a lot of autobiographical rock/blues books and this is probably the best. It's well written, funny and informative and from the first few pages I was hooked.I look forward to Brian's next offering.
