Don't try this with a cell phone
Somehow I got the impression from the Amazon ad that this product works with a cell phone. It does not. I called Merritt, the refurbisher, and they both explained what product I should order (nothing requiring one of those additional cables) and emailed me a postage paid label to send it back. The agent was very warm and helpful. Not their fault.

Bought this to use at work when my in the ear headset started to hurt. Been using this for 6 months and while it states refurbished have had absolutely no problems. Plus can't beat the price!

dead in six months
Will never buy this brand or use the seller Headset Advisor again. This was very lightly used headset and it stopped working within six months of purchase.
