This is the first kombucha heater I have ever purchased. It is warming my brew and is working as promised. I wish the strap was just a tiny bit longer to better fit around my 2 gallon continuous brewer although it does (barely) make it around the jar. It was an excellent price and came with a thermometer strip. I would recommend it to a friend.

Worked well this brew! One of my crocks was too wide for the Velcro fastener, but used an unused narrow belt I had on hand to attach it and it works great!

works great for my kombucha brewing. helped so much for speeding up brewing time in the winter months. i keep it loosly around my jug and it keeps the temperature around 76 degrees.

This worked great the first few times but then seemed to not read temperatures very well. I used this to make my Knombucha.

Nice little heater for my kombucha. I keep my house thermostat at 68 in the winter, and it’s been particularly cold lately, so I was having a lot of trouble keeping my brew above 68 degrees. I tried several different things (putting the jar on a heat vent, wrapping with a towel, etc.), but the temps were so inconsistent. I’ve been using this heater for almost a week, and it’s kept my batch at a consistent 76 degrees. It came with a strip thermometer and a velcro strap. The strap wasn’t quite long enough for my two gallon vessel, but after adding another small strip of velcro to the one that came with it, it fit perfectly. I’m very happy with this heater!

Works well as intended

I've been very pleased with this for my one gallon jars of kombucha I have going. (I bought one and then liked it well enough to buy another.) it keeps the temp at 80-85 if in tight so I often don't use the Velcro strap and just lay it around it loosely and that works well.
