I lost a friend today
In March of 2021, I purchased these glasses after I saw a friend wearing them. I was really tired of running to the store during my lunch break to buy another cheap pair of glasses on the spinny rack. One after another, they would fly off my head and break in pieces, or they would get stepped on or just randomly break. When I ordered this product, I never knew I would never have to return to that spinny rack until now. Almost 4 years later, they broke last night. Years of abuse, years of falling to the ground and sitting on them and now I must say goodbye. Right before I went to bed last night, I took them off my neck and they broke in half. I couldn't even be mad about it; it was like an old dog that took himself into the woods to pass away. Still looking brand new, I set them down on my nightstand like I always do and told myself I would deal with the loss in the morning. Here I am, sitting at my computer after dusting my drugstore glasses off writing this review. Unfortunately, these will have to do for now. I spent way too much money on other people over the holidays and bills are pouring in. Maybe one day I will have a new clicky friend. If you are considering purchasing these, I obviously recommend them. These have probably saved me hundreds of dollars over the years. Be prepared for comments and questions about them from people that have never seen them before. Also be prepared for them to pick up random objects with the magnets. It makes a good party trick. Guess I will run to the DG and grab a few cheap ones for now that have awful colors and designs. Thanks for the great product and years of vision. I will be back to buy a new friend..someday.

Great for chronic glasses misplacers
I was a little reluctant at first to buy these, since I can get other readers for a lot less online or at the store. However, I'm forever loosing my standard readers when I remove them. (Chains were too long and in my way, when I would store them on my head they would fog up from riding around on my overheating menopausal head, and into a pocket or on the table it was too easy for me to forget them.) Haven't lost my readers since I got these, I have found them to be solidly constructed so far. A little tight at first but they don't feel too narrow after a few wears. Also my 5 and 7 year old nephews are obsessed with them.

Great but tight...
I ordered these after seeing a friend use them. He raved about them so I figured I'd give them a shot and I'm glad I did. That said, they're pricier than most readers but seem very well made and durable. The terms comfortable and convenient best describe the glasses but not lightweight when compared to traditional reading glasses.I tend to wear them around my neck with the lenses separated and open (see photo) so they don't collect dirt, beard hairs, etc. This works well and I always have them when needed despite some of the "what happened to your glasses" looks that I often get.My only real "complaint" and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the frames are narrow and I find myself wishing I'd gone with the wider framed option. I consider my head to be normal in size and other "one size fits all" glasses typically fit me well. With the Clic readers, the arms tend to squeeze the sides of my head while using them (see photo). It isn't uncomfortable but worth mentioning. The nose piece also seems a bit snug which needs to be mentioned as well. Allowing the glasses to "snap" together before resting them on your nose is imperative. If not, they can pinch your skin when they come together. While it won't kill you or break the skin, it'll certainly make you wish you'd done it differently.I can't comment on their resistance to scratches as I'm very careful with them but all other aspects of the glasses seem to be holding up to day to day use well. Overall, it's a purchase I'm pleased with but would order the "wider" pair if I were to do it again.

Decided to give these a try.....They're keepers!!
Update: Jan, 2023 First purchased these glasses in 2017. Used daily on & off, on & off... In 2021 or early 2022, as another review mentioned and showed in a picture, the plastic where the sides slide to adjust broke. I wore & used them for several more months by taping it in place. Eventually, however, the lense section began slipping out when just hanging around my neck and I'd lose it---finding it again somewhere in the house and starting over with fresh tape. I think what little plastic hadn't broken off and helped at first to hold the two pieces together when taped, was now gone. Tape alone wasn't tight enough for the weight of the lense section.I've updated this review because this is the first pair of readers I've ever used for more than a yr or so--many only lasting 4-6 mos. These, I got almost 5 yrs heavy use out of. Well worth the higher price!I bought another pair in 2022 but at a higher magnification which bothered my eyes. So here I am finally buying exactly the same ones I bought the first time. Oh... and that 2nd pair -- the back up ones, I mentioned in my original review...I put them someplace to keep them safe. For the life of me I have no idea where. I've looked all over for the better part of a yr but haven't found them yet. If there's any con to these glasses it's also what makes them so great. They have the structured, behind the neck form which allows them to hang around your neck--but also doesn't make them easy to store an extra pair. It's not like just putting them in a protective case and throwing them in the console of your the car, or in a kitchen drawer-- they need more room and there's no protective case to shield the lenses. Where ever you put them, be sure they won't be getting all scratched up. I did such a good job on that front I don't know where I put them!ATTEN. CLIC : HAVE I GOT A MARKETING IDEA FOR YOU. OFFER A BUNDLE OF 2 PR AND A FLANNELBAG, OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, TO STORE THE EXTRA PAIR IN. I'd be first in line to buy it.ORIGINAL REVIEW SUBMITTED JAN, 2017. Clic Adjustable Front Connect Readers- I'm wearing these now as I write this review. They're comfortable and fit fine with no adjustment needed. The magnet is strong so I don't anticipate any problem with it pulling apart on it's own. The style and cut is such that's it's easy to look up over them to glance at tv, talk to others, walk around my home, etc. I wasn't sure I'd like these. Up to this point, my favorite pair out of probably 100's tried over the years, were a very thin, very light weight & fragile metal wire frame. However, that said, although these aren't as light weight as those were, they are lighter than many others I've had. They're very comfortable to wear and because so easy to look over when not needed, I tend to forget they're on--until I need to see something I'd need reader glasses for and they're right there! A big plus!I bought the tortoise and they're classic, as well as attractive. When I finish this review, I'm goingto order another pair. Normally I'd have a pair for the car, a pair for my purse, a pair in the bathroom, a pair in the kitchen... all who need readers now what I mean. I suspect these will probably always be on so I won't need a spare pair everywhere--just one back-up pair. That said, it's a good thing because they don't fold and so wouldn't fit in my purse anyway. They don't appear to be extra fragile either so I expect them to last a long time. Thank you Amazon for carrying these. I've never seen them before and am, obviously, glad I found them.
