This thing is completely worthless. It goes off CONSTANTLY and does not seem to actually use the motion sensor. Because it goes off constantly it runs the battery down and doesn't actually work at night -- which is the whole point. If you have a sensitivity to flashing or neighbors who loathe their house getting flashed at during the night - it gets really irritating really fast because it blinks the light on the front constantly. Even without motion being triggered.

My neighbor planted a very large tree years after I had put in an apple tree. The squirrels and rats on the area who live in that yard came to my yard to eat the apples on the tree. It has been years that I have not been able to have even one apple from the tree. This year I had all the apples except one or two they are very good apples.

Our backyard was full of squirrels. I bought this hoping to avoid getting an exterminator since they kept getting into our house. It worked amazingly well the first month. By month two it stopped working properly and the squirrels were back. It's definitely worth a price. Even if I bought one every single month of the year it's still cheaper than getting Pest Control to remove the animals

So I have a MASSIVE pot on my patio where I am trying to grow my new rose bush, and the f*cking squirrels that live in the trees around my condo were digging deep into the pot and disturbing the roots and chewing on the stems (its thornless) while getting potting soil ALL OVER MY PATIO. I didn't want to poison them, or hurt them in any way, because nature, I decided I needed to find a way to deter them from getting near it without hurting them.SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS!! It's been a week and so far no holes in my soil! I was worried the pitch of the alert would bother our cats but with the door closed we can't hear it and even when it goes off when I water it every few days, the my cats don't seem bothered. BUT IT KEEPS THE SQUIRRELS AWAY! SUCCESS!

I'm sorry, but I watched a squirrel walk right in front of the unit, the light flashed, but it did not effect the squirrel at all. I bought this item to keep squirrels away from a low hanging bird feeder. Looks like my next step is a gun.

Raccoons were tearing up new plants in order to get to grubs underneath. Several people recommended using an ultrasonic animal repeller, and this model had great reviews.I installed three units in sunny locations, aiming them at the area with the disturbed plants. To ensure that the units didn't run out of power, I turned them off during the day (allowing them to fully charge) and then turned them back on before nightfall. Walking in the area triggered the unit's flashing lights and ultrasonic sound (which some visitors and pets could easily detect, though I couldn't hear them).Didn't slow down the raccoons a bit. They uprooted plants within a few feet of the units. I've moved on to hiring a trapper. The packaging was accidentally thrown away, so I can't return the units.They seem to work for some people. No idea why they didn't work for me.
