Helikon-TexBushcraft Line, Matilda Backpack

The pack is very light, well built, spacious, and above all very comfortable even under full load. The shoulder straps are thick and so is the hip belt. Everything is well thought, no straps are dangling. Plenty of mole attachment points, hydro sys holes, and a bladder clip. Very happy with the purchase!

Fantastic small pack, that holds more than you'd think. The molle straps allow a lot more to be added. Very comfortable and can hold a lot of weight easily

Awesome pack use it for wild camping. I added a couple of viper stuffa pouches to the sides for extra room and will soon be adding a couple of flyye water canteen holders to the molle belt and a couple of molle water bottle holders above the added viper pouches. Very durable, the stitching holds up well under duress and if fitted properly, can make heavy loads easy to bear. I also added some grimlock karabiners around the top edge of the molle and they for perfectly. Although not really designed for heavy loads it can handle the weight no probs. I got the adaptive green colour which looks good with with olive or coyote coloured pouches. The three front pouches are not attached down the centre so you can fit thinks like tools and perhaps walking poles down them. I have a mora companion and a small folding saw tucked into mine.

Reasonable price and very similar to alice pack I used to have! There are some improvements to this version- however I only give 3star as it’s not as strong as the original and the materials used are “very suspect “ very thin and flimsy and easy to rip!! I wouldn’t put much weight in it as straps that connect at top to pack don’t look up to much weight too!Nice design just bad choice of materials

Looked great out the bag, however that’s where it stopped for meMain bag ripped across thread line first trip out and 2 tips appeared on external pouch second tripLooks and feels real light weight.

been looking a this and another bag as my main kit to take on hiking and bushcraft trips. I took the plunge with this after recommendations from countless video reviews. I love the pouch system its keeps everything organised instead of having to search through a rucksack bin. the mole attachment it fantastic already have pouches attached etc. in my main compartment currently I have my sleeping bag, sleeping mat, pillow, bivvy bag, jungle blanket, spare clothes and tarp outside pouches contain cooking set, first aid kit and food (ordered a bottle pouch and a first aid pouch as well) will update the review as I will be away on a 2 day expedition soon! straps feel comfy and not overbearing when it is fully loaded fingers crossed my positivity will stay!Update 28th march 2022 recently used this bag on a two day expedition in the mountains. This was perfect for me. if you have broad shoulders and good upper body strength this pack sits more and places weight on shoulders which is perfect for me. I don't like bags that place weight on hips as it makes me less mobile. with this compared to a usual rucksack I was like the Duracell bunny freed up leg weight knew what kit was where and very comfortable for me as well. Others on the expedition wondered how I fitted all the equipment in. this took max capacity very well!will update about wear and tear in the next coupe of months! still for me a 5* product!

Simply one my best pieces of kit

Mi è stato consigliato da un istruttore durante un corso di bushcraft, non ho ancora avuto modo di usarlo (se mai aggiornerò la recensione quando lo userò). Per il bushcraft è il top, comodissimo per trasportare in tutto tra i 45 e i 50 litri senza considerare tutte le fibbie per agganciare il materiale allo zaino. Per il trekking penso sia altrettanto valido, soprattutto perché il materiale di cui è fatto rende lo zaino leggerissimo e ha una struttura interna in alluminio per distribuire il carico. Suppongo che l'unica pecca siano li spallacci poco imbottiti ma alla fine è un problema risolvibile con qualche modifica. Per il resto un ottimo zaino, davvero soddisfatto e consigliatissimo

Ich liebe Matilda einfach !!!Angelehnt an den alten US Alice Pack ( wer sowas heutzutage noch kennt ??) bzw. diesen Modernisiert.Moderne Materialien, Hüftgurt , Molle kompatibel, sehr Leicht, Wasserabweisend ( Auf Dauer nicht dicht , aber das dauert sehr lange. )Aber für Bushcrafter und Prepper bei diesem Preis leistungs Verhältnis erste Wahl.Man kann sie (Matilda) aber auch nur zum Wandern mitnehmen ;-)
