Works great, but then again I don't use it as intended
I used it to mount a portable monitor to a lap board for a behind the couch PC. does the job.

High quality but check weight
The fault is mine for not checking the weight of the specific tablet I had in mind (Microsoft surface). The weight capacity is clearly advertised and I hoped it was a little conservative but it turns out that is not the case. I do like the articulation and flexibility of the arm, however, and the reach is decent. The jaws are also nice and wide. I am holding on to it for another use instead of returning it, if that tells you anything.

A bit too long
I feel the design of this is too long overall. I couldn't quite get it positioned right without it just sticking out too much. The length of each segment would be more effective being several inches shorter. I saw the measurements prior to purchasing but didn't get the feel for things until I had it in hand and tried to get it setup where I needed it. The length also made it more wobbly. I ended up returning this one.

How good this is depends on what you are looking for
Pros:- build quality is great- holds either tablet or phone quite nicely- the swivel-ability of the device clamp makes it easy to position your device as desiredCons:- joints are either too tight or too loose (I have to keep the Allen key nearby to adjust it all the time) - if you tighten it due to it being too loose, it will be very difficult to reposition your phone/tablet - if you loosen it due to it being too tight, it will not be tight enough to hold up the weight of your phone/tablet- there are degrees of tightness that leave the joint difficult to adjust, yet your phone/tablet is heavy enough to make the mount slump down over time
