This looks perfect next to them
Cannot fault anything about this product and company, from delivery to construction. It arrived within 2 days of ordering, and was a dream to put together. We were informed of time of delivery which was 100% accurate. My husband was very impressed with the quality of the unit, clear instructions and ease it went together. I am so chuffed with this, especially discovering it in white. I had 2 pine wardrobes that I had painted in white chalk paint. This looks perfect next to them. Sturdy drawers and room for all my 'stuff'. Thank you for such a brilliant service and produce.

Love it!
I put this up by myself. It took me around 2 hours. Clear instructions. No drill required which was my worry as I don’t have one. Just screwdrivers needed. Fits everything in the draws and on the top nicely. All of my bedroom furniture is from Steens. I have moved my room round so many times and none of the furniture has ever broken on me so I’m trusting that this will last me years! Very happy!

Very disappointing
If you want to mix and match pine furniture from different sources, steer clear. The Steens Richmond range is stained with a chestnut colour rather than a pine colour and consequently has a reddish hue that doesn't look like pine and certainly doesn't match other pine - and never will, no matter how long it is left in daylight!I chose this model because I liked the delicate design with spindle legs. As with other reports, the dressing table arrived damaged. The top had a significant dent in the front edge, it made it an eyesore. Unfortunately, I did not spot it on first inspection of the parts in poor light, only once I had assembled it to the point where I stood it upright. I had read other reports about damaging the contents whilst cutting through the tape to open the carton so I avoided this mistake however, there is minimal packaging and no separation of the pieces inside the package, so it is hardly surprising that they are prone to arriving damaged.The assembly itself was straightforward but the drawer rails look to be cheap and nasty and previous experience with this type of steel roller rail is that they splay, disintegrate and shed their bearings. Replacements are available online but if you factor in the cost of upgrading them from before your purchase you may well find that other furniture ranges become more attractive options.I returned the item to Amazon - they don't reimburse actual carriage costs for the return but I managed to keep my losses to the minimum by using the economy 48 hour service from Parcelforce which entails dropping off the item at one of their regional hubs, not your local post office. Note that no couriers will insure furniture, whether flat packed or assembled, so you will be liable for further damage until Amazon accept the return.I replaced this table with the Julian Bowen Pickwick range - not as elegant a design but far better quality, a much nicer proper pine colour, easier to assemble and no flimsy drawer rails. I am very pleased with it and consequently ordered other items from the range.

Poor Quality
Item appeared to be of reasonable quality before assembly, however fixings we’re either slightly too small or pre-drilled holes were slightly out of place which caused superficial damage when tightening locking nuts. Also, some parts did not have pre-drilled holes which lead to wood splitting when inserting screws. For the price, I’d expect much better quality than this. Very disappointing.

Missing parts
The unit is great and easy to put together. Unfortunately I am missing the back board. Part number NM410243.I don't want a return or replacement of the whole, just need a replacement back board.No idea how to request this
