No storage case
I’m thinking about returning this scanner. All the videos I saw showed it to come in a storage case , mine did not I even read reviews that it came in a case . Mine came in something that looks like a shipping box.

Advertised correctly, the images are true. Highly Recommended.
This scanner has a lot more features than my old scanners have combined. It scans more than what my vehicle can provide. The interface is clean and easy to use making reading and clearing codes a breeze. There is a small learning curve here, because this is a large step up over a plain old code scanner. If your vehicle provides information, this scanner will read it. I do not even know how to use half of the features, there is so much this scanner can do. This maybe overkill if you just want to read and clear fault codes.

Horrible
This looks nice, until you try to use it and dig into what it actually is.It’s running an ancient version of Android and cannot be updated. The tablet itself is slow and not very responsive. You can’t calibrate the touch screen, and some buttons can only be pressed by changing the orientation from landscape to portrait and/or vice-versa. It’s not Google certified or certifiable. You can’t delete vehicle profiles for manufacturers you don’t want or will never need. And god forbid if you accidentally press the download all button. It doesn’t come loaded with all the apps you’ll need to use it - Acrobat Reader and TeamViewer most notably. Some of the reviews (and at some point the listing) mention a case. I didn’t get one. Then there’s the Bosscom software itself - I can’t tell if they tried to dumb it down or just make it simple, but I’m not in love with it. Many of the functions are very limited for most makes I’ve tried. In any sort of autoscan/automatic mode, it determines the wrong model year for my vehicle. Then the app crashes every time I try to drill into any maintenance function, rendering it completely useless to me. I contacted support through Amazon and when Bosscom finally replied I got the runaround long enough for the return window to close and they ultimately decided to replace my unit, but only after they received the original and then sat on that for at least two weeks. I was told using TeamViewer as advertised wasn’t an option. The replacement is worse - the screen is so out of calibration some of the Android OS functions can’t even be run because I can’t press them, and the app still crashes in most diagnostic and maintenance functions. And BTW - I’m in IT for very large company and know what I’m doing on most any system and am a relatively experienced DIY mechanic. I certainly know my way around a tablet and software as basic as this. Buyer beware - do not wast your money.

Way over priced for the limited functions this supports for GM vehicles
I choose this OBD2 scanner as to what the seller's Amazon page statesI have been using almost daily for my business, working on GM vehicles since 1995 andhelped design such a diagnostics tool when working for GM back in the late 1980sI have just tested several types as shown in the image included as either standalone handhelds, functions via a cellphone or a laptopThese types of tools are complex in using them and to do so mean the user's manual has to be in-depth to cover all functions and how to correctly use the toolThe manual this comes with is limited in content, much is images that look like they were copies of copies and not clear to seeing the very small font contentIn this testing, I used my 1999 Corvette that I have owned for 24 years and know exactly how it functions with OBD2 tools like this model scannerFirst I notice is it is loaded with Google programs and functions, if you're like me that rather not use anything of Goggle than this scanner is not for youIt even goes so far as popping up a screen telling you it is recording your keystrokes for their use. You have to find Goggle keyboard and I suggest you tun that off.Even monitors when updates for this scanner is used, so you need to find in this handheld Goggles Player and attempt to turn all that off for your private securityAt least for me and my uses, this scanner is about 90% about use with Europe and Asian vehicles and consumes most of the tool's storage space and wanting to free that space up is not going to be easy deleting countless vehicles you will never connect toAlso, that makes it harder as to updates as when that process is done it again wants to download into memory all those vehicles againI did go through that update process to assure connecting to GM vehicles that the newest software for this tool was installed.I found no way for this scanner to enter a vehicles' information like VIN # so that the next time the scanner connects to that vehicle that the scanner remembers and autoloads for the vehicle makeupBut is dos not so when connecting again to same vehicle I had to start as scanner never being connected to itNot all screens or functions has a key to go right back to main menu, so you have two ESC backwards till back to menu but in doing so the scanner disconnects from the vehicle, so you have to then connect multi times for the same scanner sessionTo properly analyze a vehicle such as engine issues, GM has for my 1999 Corvette almost 500 enhanced parameters (PIDs)This high-priced scanner is supporting maybe 25% of those, where a $150 laptop base scanner supports many more than this scanner doesYou want to be able and scan certain PIDs as a group, this scanner only has some premade PID groupsbut there is no feature allowing you to select all the PIDs you want to make into another PID groupSo you cannot capture the PIDS you requireAlso does not allow recordings as long you need, like on a testdrive to capture a random problemFound no way if needed to do screen prints to capture contents on a screenThe frame capture rate I found to be slower than the rate of SAE and 75% slower than GMs controller allows, which is about 40 F/psI found no way to export a recording or to convert a recording to like CSV so that the recorded PIDs data could be analyzed in a spreadsheet, but $150 scanners do bothI then tried to use the functions like those that re bidirectional or reset, etcfor the tool to pop up and say none are supported for this vehicleYou would assume a OBD2 scanner tool of 2023 would by now support a 1999 vehicleIn most screens, I could not see an ICON to tell me what the state of the on-board battery is

I'm surprised at how many functions it has
I initially had some trouble understanding how to hook this up to my car. Eventually, it made sense. It has a lot of functionality for something so small. It checks things I haven't seen any other scanner check, all in one unit. I just wish there was a lot less Google tracking in it. But its a very good tool to have that is saving me money letting me check my car myself and not have to run to the mechanic every time.
