A handy adapter
This little power pole adapter is handy and compact enough to fit in small spaces. It helps keep wiring neat and is easy to pack for remote operations. Seems robust enough to last for a long time.

Great connectivity
Excellent product and a must when connecting several devices using anderson plugs. Very handy for the Ham operator when using Hardened Power Systems BAC PACs

Good but not perfect
Mine was not perfectly manufactured, and one of the sets of plugs is at an angle so I can only use 3 of the three plug sets

What I needed for my ham radios.
First, it is smaller than I had in mind. I just had not thought much about it. It is 2.4" by 1" by 2.3" tall without anything plugged into it. I am using this as a power distribution bar for ham radio equipment. I needed at least 25A capacity so this works well. Also, the powerpoles are used a lot in amateur radio so I wanted something with some compatibility. My power supply also has banana jacks so I should be good to go. Related to this, I have learned that using a crimp tool made specifically for power poles is helpful for larger wires. It is hard to get a good crimp without one.

It works, but is overpriced for no more than it is.
This review is tough- my impression of the 4-position power distribution block is that the quality could be better (which I will get to in just a minute), and it's overpriced for what it is (granted, which could be due to overzealous markup by Amazon for this item, though I don't know that for a fact).Quality: its four sets of Anderson PowerPole connectors, with the black (traditionally negative) ones attached to a conductive strip, and red connectors (traditionally positive) attached to a similar conductive strip, placed into a tray- and the whole thing is joined with what seems to be an epoxy. Mine apparently wasn't very straight, and the epoxy cured with some of the connectors a little cattywampus (which they will be from now on). I don't know what the conductive strips are made of (the description says copper), and the X-Ray (see pictures) doesn't really show any measurable thickness- I presume the strips are relatively thin (but they may not need to be very thick). In my mind, this distribution block would probably more appropriately priced at $15 or so- but I did pay the $28, so that's my bad. If you don't need a mounting base, West Mountain Radio has a 4-connector block for half the price of this one (item PWRNODE4). I happened to find a VERY nice distribution block with one power input, four outputs, a 40-amp blade fuse, and an accurate meter. It's a very high quality item, in a highly durable metal enclosure. This distribution box made by Paradan Radio was about twice the price of the Powerwerx. The construction is top-notch, the quality is excellent, and it has more features. It's also heavier. If weight is an issue, there are lighter offerings (the West Mountain Radio PWRNODE4 comes to mind). MFJ has one which has one input and six outputs- and though I'm not certain, the case appears to be plastic- so it should be lighter than the Paradan (no meter, though). Oh, and it's around $35.The reason I'm including prices for the other products is simply for comparison. For me, I feel like I overpaid for the Powerwerx, for no more than it is. Had I done more research BEFORE I purchased, I'd have gone with the Paradan, and for lightweight hiking connectivity, the West Mountain Radio PWRNODE4. But, that's me.
