Natural product made in UK
These plaque off seaweed products can take up to 6 weeks to see results and don't work for every dog, but when they do it is fantastic and negates the need for brushing at all which for some dogs is a huge ordeal. Easy to use, just sprinkle the seaweeed meal on your dog's food using the included scoop, (which will be buried deep in the tub- unearth by digging around with a teaspoon) the amount of scoops depends on dog's weight, see guide on tub. My dog really responds well with fresher breath and with no plaque forming on his teeth. Initially the seaweed will soften the plaque, which can gently be scraped/wiped off the teeth, then will go on to prevent any more plaque forming. I love the fact that is an entirely natural product and this one is made in the UK.

Seems to work for better breath not sure it helps with plaque
1st off I ordered this product to test before reading the instructions and then when it arrived and I read the instructions one aspect really made me worry and think whether i should actually even use this product. To quote what it says:"Incorrect use of this product can cause harm to both human and pets welfare. It is therefore essential that any directions are followed carefully and Veterinary advice is sought where appropriate. This product includes packaging which if not disposed of safely could cause harm to both the environment and human/animal life. If your pet is known to have any preexisting conditions or allergies, it is essential you seek veterinary advice prior to use. If your pet begins to show signs of illness or allergy, always seek veterinary advice immediately."However, after reading several reviews with no indication of any issues I did test it on our two small Dachshunds. So basically I just put a small scoop of what looks like tea leaves (probably 1/4 teaspoon) onto their first meal of the day and that's it. They did not seem to notice it was even on and ate food as usual. After a week or so it seems to help to some extent with better breath but not yet seen any improvement to plaque, but as we had been brushing their teeth every so often before this treatment neither dog had bad plaque.Would I buy again ??? probably not BUT after saying that neither of our dogs had really bad breath to start with and we were happy to brush their teeth once a week using a finger brush and dog toothpaste so really we do not need to use it. If you struggle to brush their teeth, or your dog had real doggy breath then you may find it useful.

Really helps to keep down my dog's teeth plaque..
This powder stuff is definitely helping to reduce my dog's teeth plaque! Although I feel it's probably best to use another method to clean their teeth as well as putting this on their food too. Something like a doggy tooth brush and paste kit along side this would be great! As far as dog breathe goes, unfortunately this has made our little girl's breathe rather fishy.. The powder does smell alot like sea weed, so I guess it's no wonder it's added a fishy smell to our dogs breathe now. Although it's not a big problem, and it may be different for different breeds of dog etc.. And of course it's soo easy to just sprinkle this on your dogs dinner, so this is great for all of us busy people too. The value for money here is quite good, as you only have to sprinkle a tiny amount of these granules over your dogs food each day. So although it's quite a small pot with first impressions, it will last a good 2-3 months per pot I feel.. If it weren't for my dog's fishy breathe I would give this 5 stars, but as a result I give it 4 out of 5 stars..

Palatable and easy to use
I've been giving my older German Shepherd a liquid additive into his water for the past month but have just run out so thought would try this. I was worried it might put him off his food as it has a very strong, seaweed smell. He has dry food with warm water poured on, and I had no issues at all with him enjoying his meals with this stuff mixed in. He is quite a greedy boy though, and loves anything that is mildly edible, so not sure if you had a pickier eater whether this would work for you. It's hard to say scientifically how much these kinds of products work, however, since I've started him on plaque remover products, I've noticed that his canines definitely look cleaner and his breath, although still not lovely, seems to have improved a little. Think you do have to give these products time and stick with them. I do love that I know he's had the full amount when feeding it this way, the problem with the water additive types is that you tend to get through it quite a lot, as I tend to change my dogs' water 3 or 4 times a day. I would recommed this if your dog is quite food motivated/ greedy, if not, opt for a flavourless water additive type.

No difference yet.
After almost two weeks of my mothers elderly dog using this for his VERY bad teeth, i can't see ANY difference to his teeth or his breath - still awful.Maybe it takes much longer to see a difference - I will do an update to the review if i see any improvement in the next two or so weeks.

Does improve breath
I tried this with my very fussy Chorkie and unfortunately she wasn’t having any of it 😩😔.A few days of uneaten thrown away food because this was sprinkled on it.However, I tried it with my sisters dog when he came round and he wolfed it down no problem so I passed it on for him.My sister says his breath does seem fresher and there’s no harm adding this to a dogs diet if it in any way can avoid a costly vet bill down the line!!I’m disappointed though as I couldn’t see or feel a scoop inside the tub so I just measured out half a teaspoon for my chorkie and a teaspoon for my sisters dog who is medium sized. There have been no adverse effects from this and in the month it’s been used there have been some breath improvements. It’s too early to say however for plaque etc.The packaging is nice and you get a good amount for the price so I would say this is good value.Recommend 👍
