Good for hard flat surfaces, not so nice on wood.
One of these was included in the kit of bits supplied with my Bosch Removing Roller, and it is very effective at removing the last vestiges of paint and rust etc from the detailing on a hard narrow surface such as metal rod or extrusions.Fitting it to the power tool is quick and easy and the roller feels secure in use.With skill, lots of practice and and a light touch it is possible to use this on wood, but do not expect great results on a flat surface - it will not be flat afterwards. On a softer surface such as wood it can rapidly scallop the surface leaving a finish with deep channels that cannot be polished out.On metal, it does not last long before the abrasive has been skinned off the flaps, which makes it a very expensive way to clean down a hard surface. I have found that the sequence of a heavy duty cup brush, followed by a softer wire brush roller is best for the initial bulk removal and to only use this narrow lamella roll sparingly as a pre-finishing tool. I always need to finish sanding down by hand for the best results.It is a good idea, but far too expensive for general use.Remember to wear proper Eye Protection!

sehr geile Arbeitserleichterung
ich hatte eine Tür welche ich sanieren musste. Leider hatte diese Überall kleie Kanten und Ecken . Wenn ich das mit der Hand hätte schleifen müssen wäre ich kaputt gegangen. Mit dem Teil dauert es zwar auch aber sie kommen halt in die kleinsten Ecken. Auch die Haltbarkeit is in einem Vertretbaren Rahmen . Nachdem ich sämtliche Ritzen und Kanten der Tür geschliffen habe hat die Rolle noch 80% was absolut in Ordnung ist.Von daher kann ich jedem der so kleine Fummel Schleifarbeiten hat das Teil nur ans Herz legen :)

Ce petit disque abrasif, bien qu'il ne soit pas très résistant à l'usure, permet de faire un nettoyage soigné des endroits difficile d'accès.
