Unless you're looking for super high quality jump ropes, $10 for these 2 jumpropes is pretty solid. They've lasted me several months with frequent use. If you're using them on concrete, the rubber (as well as the metal coil inside the rubber) will slowly decay over time and eventually the jumprope will snap in the middle; but, this is expected with concrete. I've been able to increase the longevity over time by cutting off a piece from one jumprope and using that piece to repair the other jumprope every time it snaps from scraping concrete, but this repair process can be a hassle. Even if you don't jumprope on concrete, a problem you may encounter is that the rubber/metal-coil may snap off at one of the handles just from all of the twisting; but, if you disassemble the handle, the repair is pretty straightforward/intuitive and you only end up losing about 1 inch of the jumprope. Overall, pretty solid.

These ropes are fine, they just keep coming apart as you twirl.

These jump ropes are definitely a great value for the price. They are sturdy enough. The rope has a braided metal core, with a clear plastic coating. The handles are plastic, with a foam grip.I have only a few criticisms, and they are minor, and certainly not an issue, considering the price.Contrary to what others have said, the length of the rope is not too long. I am 5'7", and it seems to be the right length. It might be too short for a very tall person.The rope, while sturdy, is slightly too light.The handles have 2 caps, each, one on each side. When you get these, the first thing you should do is tighten these caps, or they'll fall off while you're jumping.None of these small criticisms has made me unhappy with these jump ropes. They are a great value for the price.

Hello, I am a fitness instructor and Physical Education teacher at a Developmental Research School in Florida. I purchased the jump ropes for my fitness classes. The ropes are long enough for most of my 8th grade boys and can easily be shortened if needed since the handle has a screw on/off cap that will open up to expose the end of the rope for shortening. This is the problem, the cap will screw off itself during use which then flies across the floor! I'm really lucky I have not lost them. The top of the handle also screws off so you can take the whole handle off is you wish (don't know why you would). Anyway, after trying to tighten the best I could I had to duct tape the caps onto the handles. I'm happy with the rope; it's light, fast and handles are comfortable. I will not return, but I did have to tape the caps on the handles so the kids wouldn't lose them!

These jump ropes are some of the best that I've purchased. I'm a mobile fitness instructor and have tried several different kinds. It was important for me to have length adjustability for some of my shorter clients. The only reason I don't give these a full 5 stars is because the knob at either end of the rope that allows you to adjust the length comes easily undone with use. This can lead to them getting lost which leads to the rope not being secured in the handle, if that makes sense. If this minor detail can be fixed, these would get a full 5 stars. I would however, purchase them again

My 9 year old son really likes this jump rope. He said it is a speed rope and it's really light and easy to use. He's into jump roping and training to try out for his school's jump rope team next year. As far as low rating for durability the product broke about about 10 days of normal use. however, the company replaced it quickly and for free, so that is good. Price is good, 2 for $11. My 7 year old daughter uses the second one that came with the set.

We used this rope for skipping. The rope came long enough that we were able to measure and cut to suit our size. It's handles are comfortable and big enough for any size hand. It's weighted with the wire insides so the rope doesn't tangle and turns easily.
