Good buy - Well made!
These work great and serve their purpose. I have an elderly Chinese Crested that is having trouble holding his bladder when he gets excited or anxious to go outside. When I started using them, I didn't use a pad or anything and they worked pretty good, but I was having to change them very often as he teetles a lot. I then started using them with small poise pads and they last for over a day each. This is definitely a good buy as well. They are well made and the velcro is stitched on very tightly. I would highly recommend as it's much more difficult to make them on your own.

Happy with my purchase
At first I was scared these would not fit my 10 pound chihuahua but he got used to them quickly and they work so well! It not only deters him from lifting his leg on my couch but when he does have an accident these absorb all of it! And I just throw them in the washing machine and dryer. Easy peasy and I like that you get so many for a great price.

A bit undersized, and a quibble
My dog measured 14.75", at the top end of Small, but still within stated parameters (max. 15.25"). The actual length measured 17", so there is a calculated 7/8" overlap available. As fitted to the dog, I have to pull it snug and just barely have a 1/2" overlap. I will reorder the next size up and return these. And my quibble is that they swed the fasteners hook-side-down. That puts the scratchy side facing the dogs skin and, if just barely fastened, in contact with skin and fur. The softer, loop part of the fasteners should face the dog.All that said, my dog doesn't object to it at all. I havent washed any yet, so I cant comment on durability

Fits Frosty Just Fine
I have a rescue dog that has been impossible to train to not mark inside the house. I use a lot of belly bands. The price of these helps to be able to use at least one a day and wash weekly. I first used the bands that have elastic but they left a mark on his sheath. I switched to another brand without elastic and I like them also. Then I decided to try these. I use economy brand size 4 or 5 extra thin overnight panty liners to keep moisture away from his skin. Frosty measures 12 inches around his waist. I measured in front of his back legs and just behind his sheath opening. I ordered a size small. I can use the liner, wrap the band just snug enough to cover all of the velcro and it is not too tight. The second picture shows where I place the pad on the band. The band measures 4 1/4 inches wide. I put the pad towards the front of the band and then put the band on him as far back as I can on his body. That seems to catch his pee and keeps the belly band dry. He's very active and he doesn't behave in a way to lead me to believe it bothers him. It stays in place during rough and tumble play with my other dogs. If the velcro isn't covered it will catch on rugs or bedding. I haven't washed the used ones yet. If I see a problem after washing, I will update. Any band with a velcro closing must be closed before tossing into a load of laundry or it will catch on anything in the wash. I switch between these and the other brand that I like. Now I have enough to not have to wash as often. Still working on the marking thing. I added a doggy door but now he sometimes sneaks out with the band on. When that happens, there is so much outside marking to be done and he will soak the liner and yet the band hasn't felt wet. But I still do a complete change of liner and band. Neuter your pets young and teach the potty habit early. I hope, someday, I won't need to use this product at all. I didn't rate the absorbency because I use a liner, but if the liner gets soaked, I haven't felt a wetness with this band like I have with others.

Doesn't conform to the dog's shape, doesn't seem likely it would contain leaks.
I hate giving bad reviews, and it is possible this may work for some dogs - but they did not fit my pom. With his little tummy, the middle was the tightest and the edges were both loose - which would not contain any leaks. However, I really liked the idea of not having to humiliate the poor guy with a maxi pad like most the other belly bands. I did end up going the other route in the end.

Good price, good size, poor velcro placement
Our dogs are a hot mess when it comes to being potty trained, so we have a lot of experience when it comes to puppy pads and belly bands. We use the whelping pads by this same manufacturer as puppy pads (instead of the disposable paper/plastic ones) for our female dogs and love them. They work very well, they wash up great and last a long time even with the frequent washings they get with us. So, when I was looking for more belly bands for our boys, I was very happy to see these made by the same brand, especially when they are a great price. The reason they are only getting three stars is because of a couple of quality issues - someone wasn't really thinking when they decided how to put these together. The sizing is fine and the stitching around the edges is fine. However, if you put them on the way the manufacturer instructs you to (brown quilted side to dogs body), that means that not only is the tag on the belt facing in and touching your dog, but the SCRATCHY part of the velcro is also next to your dog's body. So, if you aren't fastening the belt all the way down (where the two velcro pieces would be completely covering each other), and I figure most people aren't, then you are putting sharp, scratchy velcro (and the tag) right on your dog's back. Would you want that right next to your skin? If they just reversed where they sewed on the velcro pieces, problem solved. I don't really understand the thought process (or lack thereof) that went into this design? We put sanitary pads into ours, anyway, because our guys are monster markers sometimes, so we're just going to flip the belts and use the other side next to their skin so that the soft velcro is what touches them. The price and sizing are great, but I was really disappointed in the lack of care that went into the design, hence only 3 stars.

The one and only belly band I’ll use.
I’ve used this brand for years. They are very easy to use and I really like that they are reusable. I can just throw them in the washer and dryer and they are good as new. I also like that when my pup is wearing them, I don’t have to worry about leaking or the furniture getting wet as they have very good absorbency. They last a really long time too. The first set I purchased lasted about 3 years before they wore out from daily use.
