Light
Purchased this light to help when taking photos; but it’s absolutely TRASH. The light does not stand no matter how you tightened the screw/handle. I do not recommend wasting money on this product because it is not worth the hassle.

Immediately broke
The media could not be loaded. Super flimsy, phone weighs it down, requires an allen key to tighten the joints and as soon as a tried to tighten them, the screw started skipping and won't hold at all. Sending it back its garbage. But the light is great.

I have mixed feelings
I think that it's probably not the light I need for my purposes, so this review is going to be a little wishy-washy. What I needed was a light that I could move when I needed to adjust the lighting while painting miniature figures or adjust the lighting and a recording camera for when I am doing demonstrations tutorials or other types of filming. This light is advertised as being an all-in-one where you can have like your camera phone attached to the light while you're doing your project. This is not ideal.First of all if you don't want the light to be going all over the place you have to use an allen wrench to adjust the tightness of each joint for every adjustment that you need for different angles. As you can imagine if you need easy adjustments this is a nightmare. Now if you thought maybe just have it tight enough that you can adjust it a little bit but mostly stay still don't bother. The light itself is too heavy for a looser setup to be efficient. You might be able to force it a little bit but all that's going to do is wear out the joints. Additionally, if you are trying to attach your camera with the attaching grip, that adds so much extra weight to the setup that you actually need a second piece of some sort of rigged together support to keep the weight from forcing the light to fall. Sure, you could try tightening everything up super tight but no matter how hard I tightened it it still would sag if I didn't have some sort of a support. I rigged up a bunch of different types of supports and the only ones that didn't enter my workspace, ended up not being supportive enough to keep it from swinging left or right. The swing comes from the fact that while the joints are locked the actual pin that goes into the socket still lets the light swing that does not lock.So long story short, this light does not work for a hand in hand recording and will not be compatible if you need to be able to do easy adjustments. If you don't mind having it locked into a single position the entire time you're using it it's probably okay as long as you're not attaching any more weight to it like a phone.I do have at least one pro that I'd like to share and that is I really like the switch on the light that allows you to adjust the temperature of the light and the brightness and whether it's on or off with just a quick easy intuitive switch system. My other light, I have to use an inconvenient remote control or a tap through a million option button on it. Both of which are not the most convenient thing when your hands are full of miniature and paint and paint brushes.

Best thing I ever bought!
Finally! I found a quality arm and light to attach to my desk with no screws! I didn’t take off a star for the cell phone not staying still, because I remedied that by just using my longer tripod for over head shots. If you need your phone to be above your desk, then don’t get this, however if you need even lighting over your desk, then this is for you! Easy set up

Weak
It’s weak and a huge pain to use. Barely supports itself with the light on it let alone with my small iPhone. Also it plugs in via usb which is annoying. Would not recommend.

Not sturdy enough to hold the weight of a phone and record
Though the ring light itself is fine, the arm is no where near sturdy enough to hold a phone and adequately and stably record for a prolonged period of time. Even if you tighten the joints as much as possible with the provided wrench, the stability is BARELY passable and not reliable enough to provide any sort of peace of mind. If your intention is to use this to record yourself painting, drawing, doing your nails, etc- this is not the product for you.
