After reading several conflicting reviews about the length of the tone, I was nervous it wouldn't ring for long. I had a helper and we used a stopwatch while I struck the fork and held it very close to my ear and indicated when I could no longer hear the tone. As far as my hearing goes, the sound became undetectable after 32 seconds. That's a good long tone! People reviewing saying it doesn't ring for long are either striking it too close to the base or may have partial hearing loss.Per the advice of another reviewer, I used it for my small dog and, after getting used to me hovering the fork around his body, he totally blissed out. He was closing his eyes and swaying.I've recently become interested in sound healing and also purchased a full chakra tuning fork set and a 528hz pipe chime but this fork will travel with me everywhere always. This tuning fork met several requirements for me: I wanted it to include a striker and a closing pouch so I can keep it in my purse for zen on the go.

I got this as recommended by my healer for clearing energy off of myself and grounding and it totally helps!! I do it after being around a lot of people when I get home, and also when I want to clear the space im in.

I have two of different frequencies ..this and the other are very nice..polished and sing well...the rubber on the hammer stinks as do all rubber and plastic from china...but the product fork sings long and I love it..relaxing..healing I hope.

Not bad not good. I’ve owned another 528 tuning fork and compared to that one this one is much lighter and doesn’t ring as long. A tad bit smaller. Sounds like the right note/ tone but have to strike it much more often so kinda a drag. The mallet is nice though.

One strike is all it takes and the tone gives a very rich wonderful high pitch to it that lasts a long time. Very well made as well as the striker that came with it too.
