This will NOT keep your hair dry or assist in speed swimming. This WILL keep your hair out of your eyes and prevent a rat's nest. It looks way short when you get it, it's not. It feels a little loose at first, it stays fine (I'm not speed swimming or diving.) Maybe it only feels loose bc I'm used to the crazy tight ones. I don't like it over my ears, so I don't have it over my ears, so idk if it prevents water in the ears. Works great for my purposes.

Does not keep hair dry but does keep it from getting tangled in the water. Protects hair color from sun. Is lightweight and cooler than a ballcap. Very comfortable and looks fashionable. Lots of colors to choose from to match your outfits.

1. This is lycra, so it is not waterproof. Its purpose is to hold your hair out of the way while you're swimming, not to keep it dry. (I knew this when buying but wanted to point it out so others are aware.)2. I have very long, fine hair and this does an excellent job of keeping everything in place while I'm swimming. I never need to adjust the cap; I just put it on before I swim and take it off when I'm done.3. It's extremely comfortable for a swim cap. Doesn't rip my hair out when I put it on/take it off, yet stays in place. I can't stand silicone caps and find them painful to wear. I could wear this one for over an hour and it's fine.4. Piggybacking on point #3: I wear glasses, and most swim caps are so tight and unforgiving that it's nearly impossible to wear glasses at the same time unless you don't put the cap over your ears... but that's uncomfortable and leaves more of your hair exposed. I can slip this cap on while wearing my glasses and it's still comfortable/there's no issue.5. It had a strong chemical smell when I took it out of the package, presumably from the black dye? I immediately soaked it in the sink for 2 hours in luke warm water and laundry detergent, and that took 99.9% of the smell away. Now I don't smell it at all unless I put the cap against my nose and sniff. That's the reason I'm docking one star. Otherwise it's a great cap that serves its intended purpose and is the most comfortable of these I've worn.

I like the color. Bit this cap was made with cloth material and not water proof. I returned it and purchased another one which is water proof.

This is NOT a swim cap to keep your hair dry. It is a soft material, and adequately holds long hair out of face to make swimming and breathing easier. It has ample room for thick hair. It's not too tight on my daughter with sensory issues, yet still holds in place.

I do not mind it not being completely waterproof I bought to water walk and excersises in the water not diving so I am happy 5 star! Those horrible hair pulling latex ones are so tight and painful . This is beautiful . Peacock color I bought it is so pretty .

One among the few Worst things which I bought through Amazon. Very Poor quality, as if brought from street side.
