Sparco008231NR Universal Sprint 2014 Seat - Black

This is a fantastic piece of equipment. It is strong and sturdy, and I would trust it with my life if I was racing in it. The one word of caution is that it is a pretty slim fit. I am 5'10" and have a 32inch waist and this seat fits me as if were built for me. I've had friends come try it and out and everyone else was too big to fit in it comfortably. (The edges of the bucket are very rigid (for support) so there is no give if you exceed the size of the seat.) Strongly recommend but be aware of your size to make sure you will fit in it.

Super comfortable for being fixed back racing seats. No more trouble than expected mounting them up in my Exocet, which is to say, I had to make custom brackets to fit the Sparco double locking sliders I purchased separately. I look forward to seeing whether these have any UV resistance at all.

I know these are entry line FIA, but to put the sparco name on them should mean something. The fabric on the drivers side seat is all misaligned making the seat look crooked. It's really bothering me. They're also not comfortable so keep that in mind if your gonna have these installed permanently.

I did receive the correct seat, as pictured - earlier issues reported by others apparently resolved. Very pleased with the combination of light weight, comfort, and support of the seat. Could not believe how light it was in the box on arrival - and even with sliders and floor bracket it is still much lighter than any OEM seat. Very nice stance, not too upright, not too reclined - obviously this is important as there is no adjustment. Good side-to-side support in thighs, hips, and shoulders areas. Enough padding so the seat does not feel uncomfortable. I have a 34-inch waist, the fit of the seat is just right. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone much bigger. Of course getting in and out of this seat is not as easy as low-bolster reclinable seats, but this is entirely to be expected. Cannot yet speak to the durability of the seat, as I have only used it for one week. The fabric does retain dust and small debris, but nothing that a soft-bristle brush and vacuum won't clear. As noted elsewhere, this seat, as offered, does require a mounting system, either sliders and floor brackets, or side mounts, and mounting bolts, all sold separately. All-in-all, this is a great value and a great entry-level racing seat. PS. I should also mention that I installed this in a Toyota Mr2 Spyder, which is a very small car, and there were absolutely no issues with fit. Also the height of the seat, with sliders and bracket underneath, was perfect. The top of the back is the same as the OEM seat, and the seating itself is just a tiny bit lower.

I purchased this for my NC Miata. Installation using a PCI bracket kit was pretty simple. Im 5'8 and pretty thick so I was worried about the reviews that 34" waist is the max. Well I'm between 34-36" and I fit but it is snug for sure. If my hips were any wider I would be in trouble.Using the chair for my first event made a big difference. No more having to brace myself in the turns. You don't realize how much you are bracing with your hands on the wheel and your legs in the cockpit until you no longer need to.This seat also dropped me down enough to keep the top up with my helmet on.

I got the wrong seats, either that or they are not the ones that are shown in the picture.

Awesome seats. Mounted with PCI mounts these are perfect.

These seats hold you in so well. They are a lot better than 1000$ seats that I have used.I am 6'1" 190 lbs, and they fit like a glove.
