Great for counselors!
I have this in my school counseling office and my K-4th graders love this tool. I made a stick for myself too and we change our sticks every morning.

Good check-in chart. LOVE the real pictures.
It was because of the real images of children and their emotions that I ordered this chart. I find them to be so important when working with kindergarteners: they see how the faces work (helping to interpret the feelings of others too). I keep a mirror next to the chart so the kids can "play around" with their faces to match their feelings. The people sticks are great for the students to individualize their person. I actually give them a few sticks as we an have mixed emotions. The chart is accessible and easy for students to be able to move their people around, as their feelings change.THANK YOU FOR HAVING REAL PHOTOS!

Great tool for morning check in
I use this chart as a morning check in for my first grade class. They come in every morning and put their stick in the pocket for the emotion they are feeling that morning. I appreciate being able to quickly see how all my students are feeling that day. I can easily see who needs more support, who had a rough morning, etc and take a little more caution and care when addressing those students. It's not a flawless process because the kids get excited about it and just pick whichever one they think looks cool that day haha. But it gets them thinking and talking.

A Unique Social Emotional Learning Tool
Children seemed to respond really well to this Emotional Feelings Pocket chart. The best feature is that there are popsicle people that children can draw on with markers and place their person in the pocket that corresponds with their feelings in the moment. It’s reflective and interactive.

This was so great almost all my friends asked for the link!
This is so great!! My toddler (4) is having lots of feelings as expected and I’m not the best at knowing or pointing out the different feelings. We put this right next to our most used door and hallway and we often all go update the feeling chart and enjoy seeing how each other may be feeling. It has also helped significantly when my toddler is having a melt down or very big feelings, I ask “it looks like you’re having big feelings, should we update the feeling chart together?” And that almost instantly pulls her attention and lets her focus on the feeling and then we can talk about it. So far, it’s 5/5 melt downs, so that’s a huge win.

Easy to Use
I love the extra cards for extra emotions. The pictures are spot on. I can use popsicle sticks in the future when these run out for the children to slot their feelings. The purple chart is eye catching and narrow enough to place next to the calendar.

Great concept, but...
Great concept, but only has 7 positive emotions out of the 24 cards. I wish it had more positive, motivating emotions. Also, more little people as the kids like to use different people on different days.
