Great controller. I use it for the SNES Classic and it works perfectly. No lag. A breeze to pair and once it's paired, it stays paired. Great battery life and you can charge and play at the same time. The feel isn't exactly the same as the SNES controller but it's close enough to where it's not a deterrent for me. And I LOVE that I can reset it back to the main menu by holding down Turbo + Select. Great purchase and good value at $11.47 at time of review

OK So Here We Go The Price For These Used And New Is Very Low. I Got Two Of These Controllers & One Was Defective And Would Not Charge Which Is A Common Problem With This Type Of Controller. I Went Straight To Nyko And They Set Me Up With A New Replacement Controller. I'm Sure Amazon Would Have Helped Me But In My Case I Wanted This Controller And Supply For A Replacement Was Not Available At The Time.Many Third Party Companies That Have Been Around For A While Can Take Care Of Most Problems. So If You Have Issues Nyko Stands By The Products That They Make And Will Help You Out No Problems You Will Have To Pay To Ship Them $4-$5. So After About $3.00 A Piece And $5.00 To Ship One To Get A New Controller Making The Total Put In At $11.00 In For 2 Wireless Nes Classic Controllers Is Fair.These Controllers Do Have A Limited Range So For In A Bedroom You Should Be Fine But If Your Using In A Large Living-room This Might Not Be For You. You Could Use A Controller Extension For The Wireless Dongle To Get It Closer To You As An Alternative Option. The Extension Controller Cords Are Cheap And I Recommend As A Must If You Use These Classic Systems On A Regular Basis Anyway.To Be Fair This Is Not The Seller Or Manufacturer At Fault These Controllers Now Have Some Years On Them Especially If They Have Set For Long Periods Of Time Of Not Being Used Doesn't Matter If You Get 2nd Hand Or New. They Make A Battery Version (AAA Batteries I Believe) Which Would Be A Good Alternative As Well.Thanks To The Seller, Amazon And Nyko For What You Do And Making Seclusion A Whole Lot Easier.

I ordered this product in early November, and just received it on December 23rd. From the research that I've done, it looks like the initial product was flawed and didn't work (several video reviews on YouTube). While I was disappointed to hear this, I was glad that they delayed releasing it instead of sending how a flawed product. Unfortunately it seems they rushed production to send out controllers before Christmas, and still have a faulty product.Connectivity & Responsiveness - This item has major connectivity issues. I charged it overnight after receiving it. In the 5 minutes I tried using it, it lost connectivity twice for several seconds (both times causing Mario to die). I also noticed tha there seemed to be a delay in the responsiveness of the controller, making it useless for game play.Look and Feel - The controller feels great in my hands. It's lightweight, and the buttons press fine. Its about the same size as the standard controller, with a slightly (and in my opinion more conformable) button layout. Unfortunately this is overshadowed by the other issues I mentioned.As I mentioned it seems the product was rushed out to meet the Holiday demand before it was actually ready. I will be returning mine, and using the controller extension cable with has been working perfectly.

It's tough to find NES Classic controllers in stock anywhere, so despite the many poor reviews, I crossed my fingers, hoped for the best, and ordered this one. The experience has been a bit of a mixed bag, but there's a few things I've found that help it work pretty well.When we first started playing after charging it for about a half hour, it worked fine. However, from time to time it did have connection issues. It would lose connection and take several seconds to reconnect. In those few seconds your character would just stop moving, so you were at the mercy of whatever was happening in your game at that time. We noticed that some games had more connectivity issues than others. Mario Bros. 3 and Tecmo Bowl had the most problems, but we didn't have any problems with Dr. Mario.I read the instructions and noticed that it said when the battery starts to get low it would have connections issues, so at this time I fully charged the controller to see if that would help (it takes about two hours to fully charge). We started playing again and had no issues whatsoever. Played for several hours that night, and again the next morning, with no issues whatsoever. Later on when we started losing connection again, we quit playing and let it fully charge and again were able to play with no problems.The bottom line is, if you keep it fully charged, you can have several hours of issue free gaming. If you start losing connection, take a break and recharge the controller. If that will be a problem for you, you're best off waiting for a wired controller to become available. However, if you need one right away, or if keeping it fully charged isn't a problem, you could do a lot worse than this one.
