Easy to install and is very well made. I wanted to make sure this worked when the wind kicked up. It was extra windy yesterday and the flag did not get tangled around the pool like my other one. Love the look and love that it is black to match the outside of my house. Would buy again !

Bought this pole to replace an older aluminum pole that broke during some high winds (about 19 mph). The flag routinely would get wrapped around the pole no matter what I did to try and prevent it. Well, this new pole no longer gets the flag wrapped around the pole since installed. The pole itself appears to be sturdy so we’ll see if it holds up to any wind gusts. The only change I did was use my own heavy duty mounting screws into concrete as the ones supplied were light duty and didn’t think they would be sufficient to hold the bracket which was no big deal. I’m assuming the bearings built into the flag rings are key to keep the flag from getting wrapped around the pole. Overall, this is what I was looking for in a pole. It looks nice and functions very well.

This flag pole comes in four sections that screw together, time will tell how durable it will be in high wind. Judging from prior purchases of this type it seems a little flimsy.

2nd UPDATE - seller responded and immediately sent me out replacement rings that appear to be designed differently. It was easy to change out the old defective rings and the new ones are working great. I have changed my review to 5 stars.UPDATE: It is now over 3 weeks and 3 unanswered messages since I have tried to get a response from the seller in regards to defective parts.This is unacceptable by Amazon standards. I have reduced my rating to 2 stars.I would have given this a five star rating except for two things. 1. The tangle free rings don’t work properly. The flag still wraps around the pole. 2. No response from seller. I sent a message to the seller a week ago and still no response even though they state that you will have a response in 24 hours.Other than that, it is a sturdy pole and it was easy to assemble.

Reasonably priced for a durable, attractive and high quality flag pole. Nice to have two angles to hang flag.

I knew when buying cheap crap it would be cheap, but still...The plastic spinning ring started to stick after a week. Open bearings outside? Really? The pole is really not long enough for a 4x6 flag, which caused more instances of getting caught on the building and mounting hardware. Needs another section or two of pole, but the average quality makes me doubt it would hold.Initiated a claim due to the defective spinning holder thinking maybe I'd give it more of a chance, but instead of an option to replace parts just told me to return it. So now I'll have mounting holes on my garage to deal with.I shouldn't have gotten caught in the allure of cheap crap, so that's on me. Might just need to build something, I guess, since everything looks of similar quality to order.Update: I appreciate the seller reaching out and have added one more star to make this just a mediocre product instead of complete crap. For larger flags they really need to add an option for an additional section of pole. And maybe just add an extra spinning holder as one will eventually get stuck. Still deciding if I really want to disassemble everything to get a refund, which is frustrating since I had to drill into my garage wall to install the hardware.

Purchased on August 2023, and installed shortly after. The flag pole was easily assembled and had a nice high gloss finish. Once installed, it worked as should for the most part. Tangling of the flag did become an issue shortly afterwards ( tangling was an issue from the beginning, but about a month or so after installation it was a constant issue. I think most of us will continue to untangle am I right. Well, I’m done untangling, lol I’m including a couple of pics to show the areas of failure. I believe that this flag pole would last someone a pretty significant time if it weren’t for the lack of actual sealed/enclosed bearings. The design or lack of,causes the cheap metal balls( not really what I call bearings) to become rusted very quickly. Just the moisture in the air will start the rusting, let alone being outside in the weather 24/7. This rust causes the inability for necessary rotation which keeps the flag from becoming tangled. Honest opinion, this could be a very decent solution for your flag with one very small improvement either add true bearings or just use the loose plastic ring and hook and thumb screw. I’m not going to throw out the pole because it has held up fairly well, but as far as displaying “Our Flag” it’s just not doing the job. The “Two Star Review” is for the flag assembly components, not the entire product. The pole is still in decent shape no rusting and has held up pretty good( it comes in 4pcs.that you screw together) and they do a good job of staying together and not becoming loose.

Really pleased with the sturdiness & quality. Took me a min to figure out how to assemble but it’s very quick once you know how. I like that I can take it to a protest in a bag, and quickly assemble it there. I also like that that it rotates & the flag doesn’t get tangled in the wind. Glad I went with this one over a cheaper flimsy one.
