Works with gmktec m7
Worked perfectly with my gmktec m7 and a Radeon 580 Rx. Keep in mind it's 4i and if your device supports 8i, that would give you 8 pcie lanes vs this one's 4 lanes. Overclocking the card pretty much makes up for the lost performance, as long as you have adequate cooling.

Poor quality, design flaws.
I have bought a number of these riser cards, and while some work, about half have some kind of issue. Additionally there are design flaws making the connectors very weak and requiring support of the cable, and a SATA power connector is really not sufficient for the draw of a GPU from the pcie slot.

Works as advertised
The product functions effectively, but there is one notable drawback: it cannot be mounted. This lack of mounting capability may limit its versatility in certain situations like putting it in a case. I had to just find a spot to sit it where it’s not blocking air flow to my other components.

Works with my RTX 4080 Founders Edition
This OCuLink adapter works perfectly with my RTX 4080 FE card! Due to how heavy the card is though, it slants and tilts over so you may need to buy a EGPU enclosure from Etsy or 3D print one. I attached a before and after picture with Razer’s thunderbolt3 egpu enclosure vs this OCuLink adapter.

*works* but not with GPUs
I bought this with intention of using an external GPU on this YouYeeToo X1 SBC. However, the adapter (24pin ATX side) lacks power to certain areas of the PCIe slot. This resulted in various GPUs tested in the adapter to not be detected (I also used a different motherboard and a different m.2 m key with Oculink to verify the no detect issue) as the issue still persisted.Cons: Don't buy if you plan on using an external GPU, as GPUs won't be detected. (I tried RTX 4000 SFF, 2080Ti, 3090Ti, Radeon Pro WX4100). I noticed the daughter board and it's m.2 card is on the flimsy side. I was worried the weight of a card (if not supported correctly) would crack the board / severe soldier joints. So maybe I had a bad adapter? Nope..Pros: It DOES WORK with OTHER PCIe based expansion boards (like the Asus Hyper Card V2) I was able to get one Samsung 980 Pro m.2 to be detected on the hyper card using the Oculink adapter.

Perfect for Laptop eGPU setup
I highly recommend it if you're working on a budget, worked on first boot with no driver issues compared to other docks I've previously purchased, the laptop I used was a Dell Latitude e5480 and paired it with a Rx 6600xt and purchased a second laptop back cover and cut out a hole so I can easily plug in the oculink with having to remove the cover every time I want to play games.

Great compatibility
Zero issues, No drivers needed, great for External Gpu setups, only issue being its lack of extra power support.
