300 The Movie Deluxe Spartan Costume

The first time I tried it on I noticed there was a missing strap for leg guard 1 then when I put on the second one another strap broke because it was way to small for the upper leg, the toga should fit an average man fine but it’s a little short for someone with a larger upper body.

Everything is so nice except for the mask, the material is cheap and has a strong smell. Thats the only thing I didn't like about the costume

my hubby wanted this costume despite the bad reviews... well, should of skip on this one!The helmet part will be unusable we will buy a better one whats made of hard plastic instead of rubber),it was folded on half and when You put it on your head it just look very bad :( the robe does look like a dress but we will make use of it, "man" it up somehow. but for the price its allright, for one time use i can live with it :)

This item fit my husband perfectly.The shine guards, arm gaurds, and especailly the helmet are decieving in the picture. They are made of flimsey plastic but look good. we had to use a stapler to make them fit properly, but worked for the job. HOwever, the helmet was crappy! we went to party city and bought one that fit perfect.Overall, not a bad purchase for $20.

Did not use the helmet as it fit strangely and smelled like chemicals-as did the other rubber armor pieces. robe fit fine. elastic on forearm armor needed to be tightened. Knee armor was too short. This is how it fit on me at 6' 145lbs. Beware, if you store it in your closet, it will make the clothes next to it smell like the potent rubber.

I ordered the "standard size". I noticed there are 2 different "standard" sizes. I am tall with an athletic build. So it does not come down low enough on me. But not bad for the price.

Let me start off this review by saying there is nothing in the picture that resembles what you get in the package. You can't even make what they give you look close to the picture. The only thing similar to the picture is the color of the cape. I will try to give specific detail of each piece so you know what you're getting yourself into before purchasing. Helmet- The rubber used to make it does not make it possible to form into any semblance of a helmet.It comes to you flat squished into a bag. The piece that's supposed to come down in front of your face flaps around and the nose piece doesn't sit down on your nose. Let's not also forget the smell of the rubber is also very strong and nauseating. The molded gauntlets for the shins come with elastic to hold on your leg. One of them came broken and unattached so I would have to glue or staple it back on. The rubber is so flimsy that it looks ridiculous and the elastic isn't strong enough to keep them in place. The gauntlets that go around your forearms are too small. When you put them on they only go around 2/3 of your arm. I tried to use clear packaging tape to keep them around my arm but the rubber was so toxic nothing would adhere to it. The picture makes it seem as if they cover entirely. The cape is the only thing that I would rate above a 1. However, even the cape doesn't drape correctly and in know way does it look like the picture.Bottom line, do not waste your time and money on this costume. I say shame on maker for producing such a sub par product. I also say shame on the seller who probably knows this is a crap product but they sell it anyways to get it off their shelf.

The fit was better than expected. I was able to wear it to work without violating any company policies. The faux metal wrist bands and helmet were a nice finishing touch. The material was soft for comfort but still maintained the effect.

Worked for a costume my son needed for school. Arrived quickly, good quality for a costume, would recommend.

La toge est plutôt bien faite, elle rend bien.Les accessoires (jambières, poignets et casque) sont en plastique mou. Pour ce qui est des jambières et des poignets, une fois les élastiques resserrés à l'aide d'un noeud, l'effet est correct. Par contre, le casque, hormis l'odeur infecte du plastique, n'a aucune forme (plastique mou ...), il vaut mieux ne pas le porter pour ne pas avoir l'air ridicule !Le prix reste assez élevé pour la qualité mais je n'ai pas trouvé de meilleur rapport qualité/prix

To be honest, the cloak looks like a dress and the leg greaves cut off circulation as the straps are only good for skinny people with no leg tone. You are better getting the other "spartan" outfit and getting the "flappy paddle" headgear separately. Note that this is about the costume and not the service provided by the retailer which is fine

Ho fatto questo acquisto d'urgenza per una festa in maschera. Il costume è leggermente diverso da come compare nella foto, il dettaglio del collo non è proprio cosí ma nulla di grave. Anche le polsiere sono diverse, quelle effettive sono più piccole. Ma tutto sommato il costume è stato un successo.

The single worst thing I have bought. Helmet massive,Cape looks like a maternity dress,arm band securing elastic too thin and they flop around same for leg bands apart from the elastic too tight round legs. Do not buy save your money.
