Oxford Men's Dakar Dry2Dry Air Motorcycle Jacket

It is obvious that Oxford has been making motorcycle garments for some time. Being from England where motorcycles are daily drivers year round their products have to be good! They may not have the brand recognition that some other brands have, but I always look for their products when I am shopping and I am never disappointed. I also have other brands of motorcycle garments to compare.

This jacket is quite literally unmatched at this price point, can even argue that for jackets at this safety rating.I have measurements for L but M's armor placement was superior, L was too loose, granted I'm very fit so the looseness is due to being an athletic build not a beer belly build. If you're the latter L would probably do you just fine.M was a bit tight until I upgraded to the Oxford level 2 armor. The included armor is too rigid if you're sozing down. The flexible level 2 armor makes it a perfect fit jacket.Couple things to note,Not design for durability, single stitching is a guaranteed need for jacket replacement upon crash, but most mesh jackets wouldn't even survive a crash so who cares I guess.Blue camo is actually much darker in person, almost dark grey. I didn't want this color because it looked too blue on the images, but in person it's so dark you can't see the goofy camo graphics.I live in socal so it's gonna be my full year jacket. It's a little hot indoors during winter, hopefully I don't have to buy and even more lightweight jacket in the summer.
