We were pleasantly surprised by this speaker. I use this speaker to listen to podcasts when I am in the shower. So I take a water-resistant speaker into the shower with me to hear the podcast clearly. I will also occasionally take a speaker outside to listen to music. This speaker can go loud and I love it. On the first trial I thought, crank it up because more than likely I won't be able to hear it. That was a mistake. It was so loud my wife was pleading with me to lower it and I was trying to find the quickest way to shut it down. It has big up and down buttons to lower the volume or change tracks. I cannot say how convenient that is when I have my face covered in soap and the podcast hosts decide to start yelling. The speaker is on the chunkier side, so I needed to make extra room on the shower shelf. I cannot say that the lights do anything for me in the shower, but they are bright and I can change them to different phases. I thought that the battery was running out faster than advertised (6+ hours) and I timed it and found out that the speaker with lights on lasted me for 8 hours and 9 minutes. It has a good bass but I feel that it is a TINY bit on the tinny side. Overall, I love this speaker and love that it holds its charge and is water resistant. It's a great little chunky speaker for me.

So please read the description thoroughly because I was shocked when this what I thought was to be a 9.5 x 8.9 x18.1inch “Party Speaker “ showed up at my front door …all4.1 x 4.8 x 8.5 inches !!! I just about died laughing !!!I kept it …the sound is not all that but this little thing has a light show like no other ! I really do like this …just wish the sound was better ! Come on Dolphin …I have some BT speakers half the price of this one that sound waybetter !!! I think after the first surprise the sound took over the next surprise . Great Light show …lack quality sound !

My family loves this speaker as it is portable and the sound quality is excellent. We take it with us on our boat, to the park and in our backyard and the battery life hasn’t failed us yet after hours of use. The handle makes it super easy to carry around without the fear of dropping it. The different colored lights are an added bonus especially when it’s dark outside. Great looking speaker with big sound!

Overall this speaker was fine and the lights look cool and it works pretty much exactly as expected. I've ordered more than 10 different speakers from the price range on Amazon over the last year, and this was definitely right in the middle of all of them, not the best by far, but not the worst either.I think the lights on this are definitely one of the redeeming qualities of it, the way they look and how you can adjust them to do different designs and stuff, I love that and think that's definitely a big part of why I like this speaker.The sound of the speaker is fine, definitely have heard better but this is pretty much on-par for this price point.Haven't really tested the battery too much yet but it seems pretty good, haven't had it die at all during testing so that's good.I will say I think the amount of buttons on the top of the device is a bit much and a little bit confusing since none of them are labeled, but overall it's not that huge a deal if you read the instruction manual and remember which one does which.Overall I'd give this speaker an 8/10, it's a pretty good speaker with some good features like waterproofing and the lights, so if this is what you're looking for this is definitely for you, but for anyone just looking for a nice portable speaker, I think there are speakers out there that sound much better for only a little bit more price wise, and it would definitely be worth looking into those first.

This Bluetooth speaker looks pretty cool with its RGB lights and good sound quality, i was happy with itIt's pretty small and the battery life was a bit better than I expected.Overall a solid speaker for this price point

Best sound of any I have listened to... awesome!!!

The media could not be loaded.  I really like most of the speakers I've tested from Dolphin. I thought this one would be a great option for a portable party speaker. However, I was disappointed by some of the trade-offs and a couple of technical issues. First of all this speaker is only 20W of power whereas other Dolphin speakers in this price range offer 30W+ power output. Also, this speaker is only IPX5 splashproof where other Dolphin models at this price range are fully IPX6/IPX7 waterproof. Finally, it only has a 4400 mAh rechargeable battery where other models around the same price are 4500+ mAh. It does look and feel well made and offers a cool, built-in carrying strap. It has a TF expansion slot for micro-SD cards an auxiliary port for wired connections and a USB A port for thumb drive or it can be used as a power bank to charge mobile devices. This speaker can also be linked and sync'd with other Dolphin speakers. The RGB lights are fantastic and really the superior feature of this speaker. The two technical issues I had are that the FM tuner only works if you have the speaker charging (the adapter cable works as an antenna). This means that if you want to listen to FM stations, the speaker is no longer portable (because it is plugged in) or waterproof because the silicon cover for the ports has to be open. Also, whenever I switched to the FM tuner and back to Bluetooth, I had to reconnect my mobile device as it was disconnected while in FM mode. Overall, I really prefer most of Dolphin's other offerings over this one and would only recommend this speaker if RGB lighting effects are a priority.

The speaker is really cool with the reactive lighting and the overall look. The only downside is that the sound is alright. It doesn’t get that loud and there isn’t anything sound wise that makes you go, wow. I have other speakers at the same price point that sound much better. If you are here for the aesthetics then this is your speaker.
