when the computer is over there
I bought this so I don't have cable clutter dangling a crossed my room. it serves that purpose well by going around the perimeter without getting an even longer cable. It is surprisingly flexible since its fiber optic based and works surprisingly well.My one con to it is that this is a piece of passive electronics. there is hardware at the source and display end that converts to a fiberoptic signal to and from a coper based one. Depending on the compliance of the display it might not work as expected and overheat but I found that it only happens to me when I switch between display channels/sources on my monitor/TV to often on my no-name brand 32in tv.

The cable didn't support 120hz hdmi
The cable only works on normal 4K 60hz hdmi port, but it didn't send any signal to 4K 120hz hdmil port for gaming. It's getting really hot when on normal hdmi port, I don't think it's certified cable.

Works for a few hours...
This cable works great for extending your video signal across great distances without sacrificing latency or quality. The only issue is it runs hot after a while and eventually causes your display to flicker. Quite disappointing, but overall a decent product for the money.
