Universal car rooftop carrier
Drive from NY, to Washington State. Held up great. Attached to roof with non-slip pad underneath. Easy to to install on roof of Equinox and fill. Attached tie downs worked great and did not come loose. I did however add an extra tie down just for good measure. Endured some high winds and a great deal of down poors. Nothing was damaged or wet. Made it to Washington, in good condition. Definitely recommend this product. Would definitely work even better with the addition of a rack.

Excellent Cargo Bag but.....
This cargo bag is incredible tough and well built. I used it in the bed of my truck for a very long road trip. I ran into some pretty nasty weather, heavy snow, torrential rain and all my stuff remained dry. I dinged it one star because in cold weather, the material is extremely stiff and difficult to work with. The zipper can be hard to zip but I think that is understandable recognizing it's need to be weather proof. Overall, I would buy this again.

Worked As Described
Had this installed in the larger Maxxhaul basket for an 1,800 mile trip. Started off in the Texas heat where we encountered a massive rainstorm. I was pleasantly surprised that the contents of the bag were dry after how hard the wind blew and rain poured. Made it to the mountains in Colorado and back to Texas with no issues. Read and follow the instructions and the bag will work as intended. DO NOT ignore the notice about loose bag material or straps. I ended up with a loose section of the bag, likely from not strapping down correctly, and ended up with minor damage where the black plastic got rubbed off and fabric is showing in a small section. So have patience and make sure all 8 straps are properly buckled, tightened, and secured. I’ll be using some waterproof tape to reinforce the damaged sections. I’m confident this bag will last a few more of these trips. I would suggest that the manufacturer add a layer of protection where the buckles touch the bag after being strapped down.
