I used to have a trimmer similar to this, but it has disappeared probably in a move sometime along the way. I’ve been using a battery operated trimmer, but when I saw this one I thought I would give it a try. The manual trimmer I had before is the same at the top where the trimming part is. However, it was used by rotating the bottom back and forth. This trimmer you pinch the two handles together for it to work. The trimmer did an okay job. However, it didn’t really get the hairs at the front of the nose, maybe the hairs were not long enough. I don’t want to grow the nose hairs long in order for this device to work. I haven’t tried the nail clippers, but they aren’t what I got this kit for anyway. The plastic case everything came in doesn’t seem like it will last long and is difficult to get the trimmer back into. You have to have the trimmer turned the correct way, squeeze the handles, stand on one foot and open your mouth as if saying ‘oh’ to get it back into the case. I would not recommend this trimmer.Three stars.

When I first looked at this MANYOUYOU nose and ear hair trimmer I thought it looked like a torture device. But I wanted to try it because it does not take batteries. Batteries are always lacking at my house, and they are both expensive and not good for the environment.I haven't tried it for ear hair, but I did try it on my nose hair, and it worked great. Matter of fact, I think it did better than my electric one. I feel like using this manual trimmer gave me a closer trim, and there was no pain involved. The set included a tiny plastic case with a mirror, a pair of cuticle clippers and a brush to clean the trimmer. The case with the mirror isn't the best and probably won't last long but I felt it was an "extra" anyway. The hair trimmers are what I was interested in, and I like them. I will be grabbing this manual trimmer instead of my battery operated one from now on. Like I said, worked for me.

I'm glad to have found this manual ear and nose hair trimmer. Not everything needs a battery, especially when it comes to trimming nose or ear hairs. It works well enough as long as the hair is long enough to fit inside it. The nail clippers seem to actually be a basic hangnail nipper, and I liked that a brush was included. I didn't think that the case needed a mirror since the trimmer rubs against the mirror, causing it to detach. Otherwise, this is a solid product.

The nose/ear trimmers work quite well for me - like another reviewer states you gotta go slow and steady and make sure the hairs actually go into the cutting end to get trimmed. The case, brush, and nail trimmers didn't factor at all in my decision to get this - the case is okay while it lasts. The mirror in mine is just fine and hasn't fallen out or broken. Haven't tried the trimmers but could see using them on the edges of my nails to help keep the sides trimmed - especially on my toes and thumbs.

I found the trimmer easy to use and fairly effective after you understand that the hairs have to enter one of the slots before you squeeze the handles. So take it slow and easy rather fast and furious.The nail trimmer has a pointed blade that makes it useful to clip near the edge of the nail.The included carrying case has some problems. The trimmer is hard to place in its compartment since the spring loaded handles make it want to pop out and the nail trimmer fits very tightly in its compartment making it hard to grab to remove. However, the cleaning brush fits nicely and the mirror in the lid may be useful.

The Nose Hair Trimmer is compact and cuts my nose hairs okay. I found it best to make sure your nose is dry so the hairs stand better. I experienced one pinch but that was because I moved the trimmer before it fully cut. The blade head easily unscrews off so you can clean the trimmer. It comes in a hard case with nail clippers, a cleaning brush and a mirror that appeared to fall off from the lid of the case.

This is a cool little manual gadget that is easy to travel with. It’s very easy to use and while I don’t find it to be too sharp but it does work. I have one made in Germany and it doesn’t seem too different than this one so maybe they’re all made the same? It comes in a nice compact case with a little brush and clippers.

I received the kit pretty quickly, so that's a plus. When opened, the mirror had already fallen off...no big deal, I wouldn't really use it anyways. The tools inside are OK. The nose trimmer is definitely the most well made tool in the kit. Honestly, the nail clippers could've been left out....they were a pain to get out of the case. Overall, this kit is nice, but I wouldn't repurchase.
