Break the Glass

It was a treat to be introduced to Jean Valentine’s work! In Break the Glass I found every one of her poems asking me to stay awake. She is able to convey much with so few words about things that are at times spiritual, or subtle even profound.

Jean Valentine writes in a sparse, condensed way that feels like the product of a lot of thought. It's wonderful to enter into her meditative world and share her vision. I recommend.
