I had put off using it until my daughter's birthday.She could easily cut the cake with the handle!My entire family wants to get one because it is so upscale looking and lightweight and simple to use, the cake's height was not a problem at all.

Sharp, but bulky, unattractive knife. There is no model name or the steel composition shown on the blade. The quality is in question for me on this knife. Time will tell.

Nice packaging. I love the design of this knife. It is very sharp and is comfortable in my hand. The knife feels very well balanced. I have paid way more for less of a knife before! I have shown friends and they are blown away with the aesthetics.

This knife is so good to cut any kind of thing it have never been so easy to cut meat, incredibly good quality totally recommended.

Just a great looking chefs knife. The mooth transition from blade to handle just makes the knife sleek looking. Great balance in your hand for dicing vegetables. I would love to have a complete set of these. The quality seems on par with my Shun set, but far cheaper. The company offers a few knives but needs to move forward with a greater variety of sizes. If they did I might move away from Shun and embrace this brand.

I was a sushi helper once and have a little bit of knowledge about a knife. Stumbled on it because it was cheapest one made with carbon steel. For design-wise it is not so unique from others but for this quality and price it was a good deal. Pretty happy with my purchase after over a week of usage. It feels impact and wear resistant for durability because of material. Ergonomic and comfortable to handle, sharpness is more than enough for home kitchen.

I like the nice box it came in, so it would make a great gift. It's a nice, heavy and sharp knife and works as intended.
