I won't repeat what others have said...but am I the only one who got the Grover's Mills, New Jersey reference in the black and white sequence?Grover's Mills was a random choice of landing site for the radio play of 1938-The War of the Worlds. This is where the (wait for it...) Martians landed for an invasion!!! This was a particularly important broadcast because Orson Wells and company, in the quest of making the best story possible, actually got a great many, war worried, people to believe it!!! It should be noted that some people heard "German" instead of "Martian".One way to test the trust of a leader could be if he or she went on the air and announced that aliens had landed--would you believe them? FDR must have had one heck of a credibility rating!!! Just ask some of the people who believed the broadcast because FDR SAID SO!!. I strongly urge everyone to check it out. The broadcast is readily available.And as if that was not enough, they melded the radio broadcast reference with a Twilight Zone episode!!! All hail Rod Serling😀By the way I loved the reason WHY Superman's segment was in black and white.

The seventh chapter of DC Comic's Tomorrowverse picks up where Legion Of Super Heroes ended with the World's Finest getting beamed up into space. Justice League: Warworld focuses more on DC's Trinity instead of the actual League themselves, so why it wasn't titled The Big 3: Warworld is never given. James Wamestar returns for his third cosmic entry in the Tomorrowverse which appears to be more of a prelude to their upcoming Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths then telling its own original story. You don't need to have seen any of the previous DC animated movies to watch this, although you will want to familiarize yourself with their line of Elseworlds comics that takes its characters into new realities.The movie opens up with a alternate version of Wonder Woman(possibly from the Justice Society movie)as a lone gunslinger in an old west town where regular roughneck Jonah Hex has been rewritten as a bad guy that Diana has to liberate a small town from. The Tomorrowverse version of Batman finds himself in the sword and sorcery world of DC's legendary Warlord reality where the Dark Knight helps the barbarian king slay the evil wizard Deimos who had previously captured the same Wonder Woman as the two heroes escape into yet another world. Clark Kent of the Tomorrowverse is shown to be in a black and white Twilight Zone episode where everyone but the Trinity are really White Martians in disguise. The Big 3 finally get their memories back and wake up finding Martian Manhunter hooked up to a machine. Our favorite Martian is probably the one seen before in Superman: Man Of Tomorrow who was abducted by the powerful Mongul to act as the mental link to all the prisoners inside his planet-sized headquarters of Warworld. Mongul would power the world through the negative emotions of its comatose captives locking them each in different simulated experiences, similar to The Matrix, and the galactic villain had been enslaving White Martians from different universes in an attempt to locate the only known remaining Green Martian in the multiverse. Mongul hired DC's baddest bounty hunter Lobo to keep his prisoners in line, even though the space bastard planned on betraying his client all along so he could take over Warworld. Martian Manhunter frees the Trinity to help liberate Warworld from Mongul's control resulting in the surviving Martian's probable death. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are then picked up by cosmic being Harbinger who tells them they are now being drafted into an even bigger conflict.Justice League: Warworld is an interesting watch at least a first where you get to see DC superheroes in parallel universes honoring their source material, especially with Batman going full Frank Frazetta fantasy. Although it makes it hard for second viewing when you realize all the secondary characters in each reality are inconsequential as they are either clones of captured subjects or White Martians, both being manipulated into being part of what is essentially a dream sequence. This is the first time that DC's Trinity got featured in their own movie together while still maintaining their own story arcs. This is a hard Rated-R movie with serious gore and body horror making it almost a Chronenberg flick. Regular fans of DC Comics will appreciate how adaptive their characters can be reinterpreted into a multitude of genres, but the overall final product exists mainly as the opening chapter of an upcoming saga.

Solid deal quality service and delivery.

Disc worked fine without issue. The film itself was refreshing in the new DC slate, and the story was interwoven in a clever way. Lobo's presence was a pleasent surprise but won't reveal how or why. Each of the three stories properly connected with the only caveat is the conclusion preludes the Crisis on Infinite Earths trilogy to come. Glad to still have in my collection, as the story elements are worth rewatching, especially thanks due to reality bending nature.

Spoilers ahead.The film was okay. It really was, but clearly was only a set up to whatever comes next, I'm assuming Crisis On Infinite Worlds or something like that but I'm unsure.First story of Wonder Woman in the wild west was the weakest for me, but only because of Jonah Hex being a villain. Jonah Hex, for those that don't know, is a western anti hero who was once a confederate soldier, though he turned against the cause due to the horrors of slavery. Here though? He tries to kill random people albeit for stealing from a bank but still, super cruel. Then he tries to blackmail wonder woman for sex. Only the fact that it's later revealed he's a clone kinda saves it but still Jonah Hex is NOT a villain. This one was the worst part.Batman in a sword and sorcerer setting alongside Warlord was really cool. I don't have many complaints but it just wasn't really long enough for me to fully enjoy. But primal wonder woman is fiiiiiiiine.The last story? A homage to the classic Twilight zone episode Will the Real Martian Please stand up? Was perfection. I loved every second of it and still found myself shocked by the reveal that the people in the diner were all martians.The ending was very mixed. Awesome parts? Whenever Lobo was on screen. The not so great parts? Pretty much everything else. J'onn J'onzz was perfectly fine with killing millions, possibly billions by blowing up the planet of slaves which just did not sit right with me. And it ends on a cliffhanger which was, again, expected.All in all it was enjoyable but not as much as I wished it wouldve been. Honestly I'd love to see a whole spin off film of Batman as a caveman sword and sorcerer Conan style hero. Maybe we'd even get so see characters like catwoman, grrrr, in a loincloth and the Joker as some sort of maniacal evil. Worth the price though so if you are a big dc fan and want to complete your collection check it out.

Es una película mediocre para un universo que estaba creciendo gracias tomorroverse por darnos una película mediocre para despedir un universo que no supo que hacer con la primera interacción de la liga de la justicia

Aunque warlworld nos hace pensar en el Superman Gladiador, este es un nuevo enfoque, que se da el tiempo de visitar alguna propiedad muy añeja de DC como Warlord, y hay que aplaudirle al equipo de animación que pidiendo hacer de nuevo capítulos de justice league, que es lo que la mayoría espea, tengan el valor de intentar algo nuevo.
