Game Changer
I used to have a Microsoft HDMI transmitter that I accidentally left in a hotel while working. I did a quick search and found this and ordered it before a big presentation. To say this thing is plug and play easy would be an understatement. This was even easier than my previous transmitter. I’ve already told my other coworkers about this and I highly recommend this to anyone who does presentations.

Decent HDMI wireless TX and RX
The TIMBOOTECH Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is a decent quality set. In the box it comes with the HDMI transmitter and receiver, 2x USB-A to USB-C cables, HDMI male to HDMI female cable, and instructions.I tested this with my work computer (laptop). I already have it set up with a USB-C dock and 2 additional monitors that are DP to USB-C. I added the HDMI TX to my laptop and the RX to my TV. I needed to add the 5V USB cables to both devices for them to work. The RX detected input within 5-7 seconds and my TV was now the 4th screen on my laptop. The display looked pretty good, however the mouse was very floaty across the screen like it was at around 30 Hz. I don't know if it's a latency thing or if the device doesn't perform at 60 Hz. Not a deal-breaker though but a bit disappointing. This is certainly a situational device for me. There will be times when I need to use it and I'm glad I have it for those situations. It performed about as expected. There were no dropouts or disconnects during the 20-30 minute period of testing. Overall, I'm satisfied but the performance could be a little better. 4/5 stars.

DVD player compatible
Product came fast, works as advertised. plug in and play. wasn't sure if it was compatible with a DVD player, and took the chance. Works flawlessly. Only thing is you do need a power brick if a powered USB isn't available.

Great wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver
This wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver is a great little piece of technology. It's easy to use and can be used to stream media from one HDMI source to another wirelessly. I used it recently on a family camping trip to connect my laptop to our mini projector and play a movie for a family outdoor movie night. The transmitter and receiver are very easy to set up. Just plug them in, push the button to power on, and they will automatically find each other. No apps or internet connection required. The quality of the video was good, but it did dip a few times throughout the movie. This was even though the transmitter and receiver were only a few feet apart. The product claims to be able to handle up to 98 feet, but I noticed visible degradation in video quality at only 8 feet. The transmitter and receiver are small and lightweight, and they take up very little space. They also take very little power to use, which is important when camping and relying on a battery bank to power everything.I like that the transmitter and receiver come with covers for the HDMI dongles. This helps protect them from damage and debris when not in use.Overall, I would recommend this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver to anyone looking for an easy way to stream media from one HDMI source to another wirelessly. It's a great option for camping and other outdoor activities.

Worked flawlessly
This remote HDMI transmitter/receiver set worked immediately. I just plugged the TX unit into a HDMI slot on my TV and connected its power port to one of the TV's USB ports. With TV power on, I pushed the button on the side of the unit and the light started blinking. Similarly, I plugged the RX unit into a small hub connected to my laptop, powering it off a nearby USB port as well, and pushed its button. Within seconds, I was mirroring my laptop display on my TV.The picture was very good. It seemed to play sound in sync with the picture, but I didn't do extended testing to make sure that held. I also stayed within about 15 feet of the transmitter. No idea what the max range is.Overall, these are a great substitute for an HDMI cable if you have USB power available at both ends.

Seamless Video Streaming
This transmitter and receiver have allowed me to enjoy seamless video and audio streaming. I've used it to connect my laptop to my TV from across my living room. I was able to cast my switch to an HDMI projector. It's such a portable solution when I can toss these into a bag rather than wrestle with 20 feet of cable.

Wire free
I got this in a desperate attempt to replace my 100 foot hdmi cable. Well I am very happy to have this as it eliminate the long wire.I'm using at our church for display purposes only. So it works great for us.

A User Friendly Wireless Transmitter with Good Video Quality
This Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is user-friendly and offers good video quality. It comes in an attractive and protective packaging. The package includes the transmitter, two USB-C cables, an HDMI extension cable and the user manual.Straight out of the box, the build quality feels great. It's solid yet sleek, with a straightforward setup process that had me streaming in no time. The HDMI extension cables included are great, ensuring I didn't have to scramble for extras. Performance-wise, it's excellent. I've used it across various devices, from gaming consoles to projectors, and it's delivered a stable, lag-free experience. The 5GHz transmission is stable, making 4K streaming smooth. I've noticed a significant difference when comparing it to the 2.4GHz band, which is prone to occasional freezing. While range is generally good, it's optimal when there's a clear line of sight, so walls can be a bit of a barrier. Overall, this kit is a valuable tool for both home entertainment and professional use. Full marks from me!

Good streaming quality, makes hdmi cables obsolete
I am very impressed with the signal and image quality of the device, this is a must have in my opinion for anyone that looks to stream video or games to the tv. I used to have a long HDMI cable that i need to move around all the time if my computer or tv changed placement. Now with the help of those 2 sticks the process of connecting my computer is very easy; just need to plug the receiver in the tv and the transmitter will immediately get connected. Just need to pay attention to correctly identity the receiver (RX marked on it) vs the transmitter (TX). Also, in some cases the usb power cable might need to be plugged, although it works also without for me. The plastic base of the stick is a bit wide though and might cover the usb port of my laptop which is placed relatively close, as such I had to use the hdmi extender cable provided. As a second screen, the resolution scaled automatically to 1080p and I was able to stream and play racing videogames with almost no lag. I did notice a bit of sound delay though when streaming 4k YouTube videos to tv. Otherwise I'm very happy with this streaming solution, it's one of the best i tried yet.

Excellent plug and play solution
I recently ordered this Wi-Fi HDMI solution and I've been pleasantly surprised by its performance. The "plug and play" feature is no exaggeration – setting it up was a breeze, literally took 2 minutes. I ordered it to use with my Apple TV, and I encountered no issues during the setup or while using it.It successfully transmits 1080p and the video quality looks just as good as physically plugged in, there's no noticeable lag in streaming. I was worried there would be a loss of quality but being able to stream content wirelessly without compromising quality is amazing. While it's still early days, and I can't speak to its long-term durability, the initial experience has been positive. The fact that it is seamlessly integrated with my Apple TV gives me confidence that it'll continue to perform well.In a nutshell, if you're looking for a wireless HDMI solution that lives up to its promises and effortlessly serves your entertainment needs, this one is definitely worth considering.

Fairly decent wireless HDMI adapters, decent/typical video quality, easy to connect/plug'n'play
These are fairly decent wireless HDMI adapters (1x transmitter and 1x receiver) that for the most part work as expected; however, there are a few caveats that you should know depending upon your particular setup. The video quality is fairly decent in short distance (within 5m/15 ft) and it does support up to 4K/30Hz resolution as input with 5GHz frequency which means it's NOT good at penetrating walls and other barriers (same limitation as 801.11ac 5GHz which it uses); however, it's only capable of outputting 1080p@60Hz signals so just keep that in mind.≡ Transmitter/power consumptionFirst thing first, the transmitter (with TX on it) may or may not require an external power source via USB-A/C cable. Try it first without it and if it doesn't work, connect it to an USB adapter capable of supplying at least 5V/1A (manual states 5V/2A but that might be overkill). Mine does NOT require an external power source and it's able to be powered by HDMI without issues (however, that may not the case for all devices out there). It draws about 0.3A on average during the tests BUT it does go as HIGH as 0.53A which is HIGHER than what ordinary USB 2.0 ports can support (USB 3.0 can provide 0.9A). As such, it may or may not work with the USB 2.0 ports on your Tx device and if not, you will need to find a USB charger capable of providing at least 1A just to be safe.In addition, I've noticed significant differences in video quality (primary color gradients) for some systems when the external power source is NOT used even though it appears to runs just fine. As such, if it appears to runs fine without providing power to the transmitter but the colors seem off (or anything else might see off/strange), try give it some power juice and see how it goes. Again, the transmitter is capable of transmitting videos ONLY up to 1080p@60Hz so 4K video source will be downscaled accordingly.≡ ReceiverIn contrast, the receiver absolutely REQUIRES an external power source and the standard USB 2.0 ports will likely work (however, test your particular systems first) because it draws about less than 0.35A on average and almost never exceeds 0.45A during the tests (USB 2.0 ports are capable of providing up to 0.5A). USB 3.0 supports up to 0.9A so this would work just fine for standard USB 3.0 ports. Again, it specifies that a 5V/2A capable USB charger should be used so it's up to you. The receiver is capable of receiving videos up to 4K@30Hz.≡ Initial setupBoth transmitter and the receiver appear to be well built physically and they are easy to work with (well, besides the wireless issue) for the most part. Unlike the Q3 model where you'd need to use the 'Select' button to select the language (other than English which is the default) at the initial screen, this one has none of that and it goes straight to displaying video. Once the receiver receives a signal from the transmitter, video will be automatically displayed without further actions. Both the transmitter and the receiver are pre-paired but they can be reset and paired again if necessary (follow the on-screen instructions).A HDMI M/F cable is also provided along with 2x USB-A/C cables to provide power. Unfortunately, the single HDMI cable doesn't quite cut it because I actually need TWO of these cables since both the transmitter AND the receiver block the power port on my input device (TV box) and out device (projector) so I can't really use these without the appropriate adapters and/or HDMI extension cables. Luckily, I do have a HDMI F/M adapter handy or else I wouldn't be able to use this at all. As you can see, the transmitter/receiver are quite bulky so check your setup first. There is no noticeable delay or rather audio/video sync issues in extended mode (i.e. ONLY a single display); however, if you were to use this to EXTEND and to add a 2nd monitor to an existing setup (computer or laptop etc), you might notice a delay especially in an environment where wireless signals is crowded and/or if the signals go through walls etc. The maximum distance tested is about 5m/15ft without obstruction and no significant or noticeable delay or signal degradation observed. I should also mention that these claim to have a 0.1 second delay so (again) just be aware of that.≡ WirelessInterestingly though, these (like all others of 5GHz implementation that I've come across) appear to interfere with one of my existing wireless network from time to time, particularly for the wireless signals coming from the source of the video which is an Android box in this case and this issue creates a 'boo' moment for me because the Android box is useless without network connectivity.I can't be 100% certain at this point in time that it in fact caused the interference and disconnection of the Android box, but something kicked the Android box off of the wireless network multiple times when these were running which had never happens before, and that was too much of a coincidence for me. I then enable both wired and wireless, started playing something, disabled wired connection, and the wireless continued to work and that's the ONLY time I could get the Android box to stay on the wireless network and that's the 2-3/10 time that worked. Note that this is the same behavior with a different model of the receiver with another unit; however, this one appears to be less of an issue on average. Fingers crossed! However, DO keep in mind that these devices USE 802.11ac networks so its performance would probably be affected to the same degree as your existing one (if not more because I'd assume these are only SINGLE stream capable). What this means is that they do NOT work that well across rooms (unless that's a wall-less room) and any barriers in between the transmitter and the receiver, particularly anything with metal, would probably slow things down and/or reduce overall video/audio quality.≡ Cooling/heat dissipationThese (A8 model) devices appear to have cheaper material in general in comparison to other models (e.g. Q3, pic 15/16) that I've come across in the past and these appear to run slightly cooler than the Q3; however, I'm not sure whether it's because these have better ventilation OR if the heat is being blocked by all that plastic shell which doesn't' conduct heat well. In either case, I guess we shall see how it goes in the long term. I should also mention that (based on what I've seen) these devices (both transmitter and the receiver should probably NOT be used in a confined and/or close place where air circulation is poor to prevent or minimize possible issues related to overheating and potentially a fire hazard.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are fairly decent wireless HDMI adapters; however, they aren't without little gotchas but they shouldn't be of any real concern if you know what the limitations are and what to expect of 'em. As such, they are relatively reasonably priced at $170 for what they provide and their overall build quality; though, they would've been much more attractive at around $150.These are of course cheaper (and more advanced than some) than Nyrius, IOGEAR, or others that I have/had in the past because they are many years old (ancient even). However, given the choice I would probably go for the Q3 model at this point in time since they appear to be better constructed and perhaps even more advanced; though, they do run noticeably hotter than these so proper care should be taken to ensure they're safe if you were to opt for Q3 model as well.
