Perfect!
So I need to explain I did not buy this to complete a drain system. You see, I have this swimming pool, and critters occasionally fall in and drown because they have no way to rest or crawl out. So I needed a pool ramp. Pool escape ramps are actually a real product, but those on the market are mostly flimsy, inflatable junk for high bucks. I decided to make my own, instead.I looked at gutter guards and cable duct segments and more but nothing was ideal to save those foolish frogs, lizards and particulary the occaional turtle. Had to be plastic or stainless due to the water. Eventually started looking at driveway drains, found this product and decided to give them a shot. These Natotela drain assemblies worked out great! By staggering the covers on the channels and securing them with some stainless screws, I ended up creating a big lip at the top for a stepping-off point. I secured the top end with some rope while the lower portion sank nicely into the tanning deck. Worked out slick!I can tell you this product is pretty well made. No matter how you use these, you are likely to be happy.

Missing piece, kinda wonky
I like these in concept, and they are close to being good, but the parts don't connect very well. For example, the tube parts connect male-female, and the end caps are both male. This leaves the free male end of the tube pairing without a corresponding cap. Also, the grate on top sits fairly unsteady, expecting gravity to do most of the work. I would want something to click, snap, or screw it into place for it to be secure. I give it three stars because I've installed it and I'm keeping it despite the listed issues.

Poorly designed
Bought this kit to use one piece and both end caps for a small trench drain. The first problem is that the end caps don't lock on one side. We had to use glue and some small sheet metal screws to hold one of the end caps in place. The next problem is that, though it did lock in place, the other end cap leaked, which kind of defeats the purpose of a drain. Problem again solved with glue and sheet metal screws. Lastly, the pipe fitting on the end cap is smaller than 2", but larger than 1.5". Thus, 2" pipe fits loosely on the end cap fitting, and 1.5" pipe is too small. Again, problem solved with glue using 2" pipe. Given that there's no pressure on a drain system, we were confident it would hold in place.Unless you're willing to engineer a bunch of fixes for this poorly designed product, look elsewhere for a drainage solution.

End caps can't be used on both sides
I was very disappointed to see that the end caps that come with the units (2) cannot be used on both ends. They are a male / female type arrangement on the main drain basins so that you can daisy chain multiple together to form a longer drain - which makes perfect sense. But... the end cap only mates to one end of the drain section. So the first drain can have an end cap, but the last drain cannot. How are you supposed to apply a drain cap to both ends then? I jury rigged mine. Just a poorly designed system from what I can tell. Otherwise the system was as advertised and seems reasonably robust. If there were an end cap solution I'd give it 5 stars. I can't recommend this for purchase because of the end cap issue.
