The media could not be loaded. I bought this pump with the intention of building a small waterfall feature on an island scape in my front yard. I wish it worked with a battery and ran during the darker hours, but other than that, this 25w pump is very powerful when the sun is shining brightly and still runs when the sun hides in the clouds. I just set it up, so I will edit this review if something goes wrongPRO:Powerful for its size and price and with it being solar poweredCONS:It doesn’t work at night (which it’s not meant to, but there were really no other solid choices for this want. The hose it comes with is VERY soft, so if you’re running it between rocks or around right corners, it will kink on you. The pump itself is bright orange and black, so if you’re trying to be discreet, you’ll have to make some sort of hiding spot for it under water. Solar panel is pretty large.

It only pumps water (very weakly) if in direct bright sun light . No shade or overcast functioning.Even in the brightest sun it only trickles......... disappointed 😞

This worked great...until it didn't! Died after 5 months of use. I cannot find any way to contact the seller so that I can file a warranty claim. It carries a 1yr warranty, but that is useless when you cannot file for coverage. Started off happy, now, disappointed. The search begins for a new fountain from a different seller.

Read carefully! My bad that I didn’t read enough. Even my yard stake lights from Dollar Tree store enough energy to work all night- even on cloudy days.. Can’t say its a good product til a full sun day… and this isn't the Bahamas so who knows when.

I bought one of these for my pond and after another month I bought another one because I liked it so much. It works exactly as advertised. The panel needs to be in full sun to generate enough power to pump the water. I use it as an extra pond circulation feature. It is not my main source of aeration, but it adds a little when the panel is in full sun. I have had zero issues with both of my little pumps. I clean them once a week.

You get what you pay for. I bought this and it looked very nice for one day. The solar panel is quite large compared with the fountain and, I had to move it around with the sun to get the full effect. Tiny filter clogs constantly.

This pump worked like a charm for eight hours a day for exactly 6 months and just stopped. Really disappointed.
