Money well spent. Easy Installation. Bright Lights.
These lights are a great option for places without electricity, or to save on energy costs. They are really bright, and I'm so glad I got them. I am using them to light up the outside of my poultry area and have them on bright light, motion detection. I live in the mountains of Northern Vermont where there are not a lot of sunny days, but so far these lights are doing well charging with minimal sun and remain working from dusk until dawn. I will mention that when we had windy nights where the lights came on frequently, it did not remain working until dawn. I thought about trying the low light motion detection to see if that would last longer, but haven't done that yet.

Good value
This unit doesn't cost a lot and therefore you should limit your expectations. I've only had it up two weeks so I'll come back after winter and give another review. It was easy to install, the chord that separated the solar panel from the light, is pretty long and should be enough. I could have used it a bit longer but I'm fine with it.The settings work as well as expected and the sensor does manage to pick up an animal at least the size of a medium dog. I don't think I'll ever use the remote, but I can see an instance when I might. The light could be brighter but if you want a more intense light buy one of the more expensive models.I will try to come back after a year and report on how it held up through the seasons.

Works how it's supposed to!
Overall these lights are a good product! Some minor complaints are 1, I bought 2 lights and the one motion sensor is quite obviously not as good as the other. 2, the lights only stay on for 20 seconds. Probably most people would/did catch it in the description, but I didn't. In my opinion they could advertise that a bit better. Had I known it I would not have purchased. But they are handy enough little lights that I kept them and am finding other uses for them.

Cheap product but work good
Yes these lights seem to be very cheaply made. They function great. The motion detection is a wide area. The lights are very bright in my opinion. As for lifespan ?? I will come back and leave updates as time goes by. To help with longevity I placed the lights under my eaves to protect from the elements some.

These are very effective - the best I've found so far!
So far, these are my favorite motion detector lights. The advantages are the detached solar receptors on a long cord (instead of being on the back of the light, which makes it hard to adjust the position of the lights with changes in seasons). They work well, are sensitive but not so sensitive that every insect sets them off, and they seem sturdy, waterproof and very functional. I also like that they are usually off AND pointing down, so they cause very little light pollution, which is a big problem in rural areas. So far, this is the best solution I have found for avoiding pack-rats in the desert: it is easy to hook underneath the open hood, pointing down into the engine compartment with a slight overlap to the front of the car, and you can keep the photoreceptor farther away where it is sure to get sunlight.

Easy to Install Solar Outdoor Lighting
These Solar Outdoor Lights could not be easier to install yourself. I ordered 2 sets of 2. It took maybe 15 minutes to install the first one on the front of my shed in the back yard. Since it has been raining, I haven't walked back to my shed since its installation. I plan to install a second light on the rear of my shed, and one on the side of my house that has minimal illumination right now. The fourth? Not sure where I'll install it. I haven't decided. So far, so good. I like these solar powered lights as an inexpensive method of adding illumination to areas where there is currently very little illumination and no easy to access, 120 volt power. Thieves don't like illumination. I highly recommend these.

They work but appear less bright than I expected.
These work satisfactorily. They are very easy to install. They are not as bright as I expected. 3500 LM? I doubt it because they appearless bright than other 2500 LM and 1500 LM solar lights I have used for several years. They are very lightweight. Time will tell how durable they will be.

Only works after dark
I bought these for the lower level of my barn which is built into a hill, and very dark inside even at mid day. These lights are very bright and work incredibly well, but they only function when the sensor on the solar panel detects that it's dark outside. I have another solar light for my mews (hawk house) which has a channel setting to work even in the day time. I wish these lights had the same feature.
