It was great but it did not last... at all
The juicer is not made to last. After about a year of regular weekly use, I started having great difficulty with removing the metal strainer after each juicing. After exactly two years, the strainer is stuck inside with no hope of getting it out. In addition, the juice that comes out has tiny black plastic bits. In the meantime, I have also had to purchase a replacement spare part twice, which cost me about £80-90 in total.

Novis juicer pros and cons.
This juicer looks great, is easy to use and easy to clean. The pulp removed is almost dry. The downside is that by the time I've made 1 pint of juice it needs emptying and the unit moves around the work surface. I'm pleased that I did not pay full price.

Great design and technology behind - love it
The juicer is not only a great eye catcher but very productive, innovative and reliable machine.Of course, there are cheaper and stronger machines on the market, but their big volume and unattractive big canisters not inviting for being displayed in the kitchen all year around. The machine is not loud at all. Only when already full of the remainings starts slightly trembeling which is a sign to clean it.For 2-3 cups of juice in 1 go - no problem. What I like most is logging into their website and getting their recepies also with video clips. The machine itself is out metal and there are plently of different colours.I chose red - it enhances the look of the whole kitchen.Of course, the inside parts need to br cleaned after every usage - but it takes me 5 minutes to get all clean. Please read the instructions carefully since there is great technology behind however it needs to be read first. It won several awards and as said - it is not chep but worth the money for me.I heard from many people that these machines are used only for a short period of time, but the design of this one invites to offer the juice to your guests as well. So I will certianly be using it a lot.The nicest about it that I can squeeze the vegetables with the fruits and my kids will drink it.In case you buy it - I am sure you will enjoy it!

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
If you're of the Facechat, Instabook generation and want to make one super fruit smoothie every other month to convince yourself you live a healthy life, send picture of it to all you imaginary friends and be content with a piece of kitchen art the rest of the time then this ideal for! However if you live in the real world, have real friends over and make juice everyday then it rubbish. By the time you've made two small drinks it's full of pulp which will over flow and you'll have to clean it out because there's no pulp bin. It's not very powerful and what drinks it does make takes a quite a while, in fact if you push something like a carrot hard you can stop the motor. It's very difficult to clean as the pulp stays in the spinner and sticks to mesh and almost dries on.My advice is if you want something nice to look at in your kitchen save yourself £200 plus and buy a picture.

Not just a Christmas present...
Despite being ridiculously heavy and very expensive - this is a great product. It has quickly become a morning and weekend habit and we're certainly making good use of it.The tip drip spout is a great feature and it's not so noisy as to make it annoying to use.Definitely one to invest in.

and it looks great, but these two reasons make it a 2 ...
when you juice more than 500ml at a time, the machine starts jumping around on the counter. basically impossible to continue juicing without cleaning it first. it also does not juice greens very well as is the case with centrifugal juicers. it is very well constructed and solid, and it looks great, but these two reasons make it a 2 star for me.

Good looking, efficient and tidy (if only all appliances were like this)
A surprisingly powerful yet compact piece of machinery. It looks sleek but also does the job intended very well. I was doubtful of what a 240w machine could accomplish as I have had a couple of juicers, one of 700w and another of 800w and while they both worked well, I could not see the benefits of a pricey 240w machine but it is built in Switzerland so apart from having some on trend pazzaz it should be fairly well built. Let's face it, when did a 'made in Switzerland' sticker on the bottom put anyone off?!?!? The unit is very heavy and feels really solid and well made.Very nice looking so it needs to be seen, but these machines can often take up a lot of workspace and still look untidy. Not this one. Nice and compact so it can stay out and be used as necessary. It also does not really resemble a juicer. It is so nicely designed it could be a trendy espresso machine for all anyone would know.It states it will take whole fruit but I prefer to take a couple of minutes and chop out the nasties so as not to mess up the grating area to help preserve the life of the machine but it certainly seems to have no difficulty with apple cores and hard carrots and the like. For such a compact motor, it's filling funnel is actually quite large and will easy take half a standard sized apple without chopping it up. Unlike most juicers, this one has an automatic speed which adjusts to the items being juiced so as to get the most from your juice. It certainly leaves quite a dry pulp so I guess that it IS getting as much juice as it can from the fruit. The motor is slightly less noisy than my usual juicer but that may be because of the low wattage or because it is Made in Switzerland and therefore meant to be efficient.Relatively easy to disassemble and clean too. The worst part is often getting fibrous bits from the grating parts and this juicer is no different but overall, easy to use, easy to clean so it can be used regularly without smarting at the prospect of the aftermath of fruit pulp being left everywhere. As with most juicers these days, it has the handy non-drip, tip up spout. To be honest I cannot fault it. I guess time will tell as to how long that 240w motor can hold out with regular use. I won't lie and say that you cannot find better because to be honest I spent £60 on my first juicer and although bigger, it was efficient, easy to clean and is still going strong. If you have the money to spend on a juicer which is as good looking as it is efficient, then go for this one.
