"Night Sky Lanterns" (TM) White Sky Candles (Pack of 5)

Bought these for my wifes 40th birthday party so that guests could write wishes on from their family. Good product with excellent delivery as promised. A few of the lanterns struggles to fly, though I think that this was our issue as it was a very cold night and difficult to get enough heat into them to make them lift. A few of the lanterns were a little stuck together and ripped on opening. A bit of tape and patience made them work again!Overall though, they were a really popular part of the party with people writing some lovely wishes on and sending them off into a winters night.

Bought these to use at Diwali, and they looked beautiful as they drifted into the night.Do note that they are quite big, and two people are needed to open it and ignite the wick before it fills with enough warm air to allow it to float away. Be careful that the paper doesn't catch fire as well, though one of ours still flew despite have a hole and another was patched with tape and was still a success.The only downside is that these couldn't be done on a windy night, but that's probably true for all lanterns of this kind.

All as expected

I bought a pack of 5 back in March and tried to use them on a cold evening on the beach.We tried 2 and never got them to fly off. The paper is really thin so you have to be extra careful when taking the packaging off.We made a tiny hole in both and it was really windy so this may be why they never took off.We'll have to try on a day with no wind to see if they work better.

I bought these for a special occasion but if anything could go wrong with them.....................it did! Being so large took ages to try and inflate which by this time starting setting the lanterns alight. It had been a mild night and spoilt the occasion. Would not buy again.

Arrived on time and worked well

Ordered for new years eve 2 days before hand and arrived the next day. Well packaged to avoid damage and did the job beautifully. Easy to light although avoid any breeze whilst doing this as fliiping them the right way round cab be hairy! My children loved watching them float off in to the night sky.

I was v disappointed. They didn't arrive on time as apparently there was a problem with dispatching them. Then they wouldn't inflate when we tried to light them. It wasn't our technique as we had an experienced lantern launcher with is. They kept ripping. What a waste of money but more than that, investment of hope. They were meant to be the grande finale of a big b/day event so everyone cud make a wish. I just wish I'd never bothered with them.It was q windy so I've allocated 2 stars rather than 1.
