Turns out the desktop unit I have is limited in function and the USB-C doesn’t pass video. The customer service team figured that out for me and went so far as to recommend another product (not theirs) to help solve it. I can still use this and intend to for the purpose I wanted with a little improvising. It’s a nice compact unit that works great. People complain about the delays in the video but that’s due to your computer OS. I was using VNC to troubleshoot and the keyboard and mouse work instantly when you hit the button. Drivers and such for the screens and resolution take a bit.Update: it loses connection to my laptop for some reason. Doesn’t pass power either. After unplugging all cables for a bit to remove the power sources, it works fine again. Not the end of the world but had hoped for better.

Fast switching, solid connection once on. Sometimes after a computer restart you have to switch it once or twice for the computer(s) to recognize connected devices. Some high-bandwidth peripherals like webcams and audio interfaces don't work reliably with USB ports. Wish it had one more monitor connection port or USB-C passthrough. Construction seems very cheap for the price.

it works as advertised, USB-C with PD, and option to plus in power. wired remote is a nice nice touch also.it would be nice if it can do one power input to have 2 laptop to share.when switch between PC, it takes 1-3 sec for the laptop to switch. it can be annoying if you need to switch immediately. and also the windows will be moved back to main monitor. can be annoying if you OE and have outlook/teams side by side on main monitor all the time.

Took a bit of a gamble since there were only a few reviews that were pretty mixed. But its been working really well for the past couple of weeks. And the price is super competitive. I used to have a TESmart, but it stopped working on me, required a lot more cabling, and got working well with 2 MacBooks. Highly Recommend!

This is second purchase of this item. The first is still working great in my primary office. I purchased this one for my second home. It worked great at install but one of the channels stopped working after a few months. Manufacturer was great and shipped me a replacement under warranty.
