I always hate putting on sunscreens, even the moisturizing ones as they always feel thick like lotion. This one does not feel like that at all, it feels smooth and rubs easily right into the skin. I don't feel like I have a layer of anything on my face, and there's barely any scent. Even when compared to ones like Neutrogena facial sunscreen that's supposedly not oily, those all feel oily compared to this one. I'm not sure how they do it, but it's the only face sunscreen I want to use these days anymore.The only thing I worry about is that someone told me that sometimes there's fake versions of these Japanese products on Amazon. I'm hoping that these ones I ordered here aren't fake, but it feels the same as the one I used from my friend who bought hers from some expensive skincare site so I feel like it's not a fake.

Definitely not Bioré UV Aqua Rich. Smells of apricot and (as you can see in the pic) too thick to be the real deal. The real product is more fluid, has little to no scent, and seems a bit "shinier" than this stuff. Can't attest to its UV protection abilities, and honestly I don't trust it enough to test.Save your money. I'm concerned I'll never get mine back.

After trying pretty much every sunscreen brand on drugstore shelves and being unsatisfied with all of them, I found the Biore Watery Essence Sunscreen 4 or so years ago and I haven't stopped singing its praises since. It rubs in super easily, doesn't leave a white cast, doesn't smell like anything, doesn't run into your eyes and sting, works great on sensitive skin, and best of all I literally haven't had a sunburn in the 4 years since I've been wearing it. The tubes are small enough to keep in your backpack/bag/pocket for easy reapplication, and the flip top lid is super convenient. I used to hate wearing sunscreen but with this I can't even tell I have anything on my skin. I've turned so many of my friends and family onto this brand too and we all keep repurchasing it because we find it to be that much better than anything on the market in the US. Give it a try and your skin will thank you!

I hate the smell of most sunblock, so I stay inside instead of baring my very white skin. This doesn't smell!!! It also feels good, so WIN!

This has been a skincare cult for a reason. It’s moisturizing too so just make sure not to put a lot of moisturizer before you use this product.

Here is some info for people curious about this product:The ingredient diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate is approved for sunscreen use in many countries, but it is NOT approved for sunscreen use in the United States. The American formula of this Biore sunscreen is not the same as this Japanese formula. If you want this particular formula, you MUST import it from a third-party seller because retailers like Amazon, CVS, etc. are not approved to sell this kind of sunscreen in the United States.Biore tubes like this show the manufacturing date crimped on the tube. It is assumed to be good for three years from the date shown, and one year after opening. Like all products, this is also dependent on the product being stored at optimal conditions. (For instance, if you left it open in the hot sun all the time, it would degrade faster than expected.)I bought this product on April 12, 2024. I received it on April 18, 2024.The manufacturing date crimped into all three of my tubes is 2022.07.11.They all have the same batch number of F0621922 13.If I opened it today, I would have about one year and three months to use all three tubes.I did NOT receive the blotting paper advertised in the listing.Be sure to read the sizes. 50g is not a big tube.I hope this information helps someone who is debating where to purchase this.Overall, I like this sunscreen a lot. It is light on my face, dries to a non-sticky, non-white, matte kind of finish, works great under makeup for me, and I buy it every year. It has a high alcohol content and can be a little drying.

I compared it to my current biore uv aqua rich and the texture and consistency is completely different. The product here is thicker and has a peach smell, while the one I own has an alcohol smell and is thinner. I truly believe this product is fake, please do not buy. Also, I was not able to even get a refund or the blotting paper that it said it came with...

I’ve used products at every price point from drugstore to Shiseido, LaRoche Posay, SuperGoop, and more and this is the absolute best.Biore is a Japanese skincare brand, so it shouldn’t be surprising they’ve nailed it in terms of a formula that is so comfortable to wear, compatible with a wide range of foundations, and makes your skin feel good.It’s the only sunscreen we wear on our faces, and the price point is perfect for daily wear. My husband uses it daily as well.It has a light clean smell that vanishes quickly, and the packaging comes in two sizes, with a small tube that’s easy to keep in a small purse or pocket to reapply through the day.Some packages are Japanese imports, like this, and are labeled in Japanese - but I don’t think anyone needs to read instructions how to apply sunscreen, and if you want ingredient info you can find out anywhere online.This is a FANTASTIC product and we keep multiple tubes around the house and in our cars, so we always have one handy.
